Remember last year when I tried to run this game and utterly failed to actually run it? Well that's all in the past now (literally) and we're back for round two because I didn't learn my lesson to not run a million games at once during Halloween.

Here's the drill...

An exquisite corpse is an art/writing term for an art piece/story written in parts and shoved together to the create something beautiful and horrible at the same time. Last year I tried to run it with a big sign up and rules and whatnot. Clearly, I was insane. There should be no rules!

Well, maybe a few. Let's see how these turn out

Rules and Guidelines
1. Max 200 words, don't spend too much time trying to come up with something perfect, "good" is good enough here
2. White out everything except for your first line and the last half of your last line
3. Wait until at least one other person has posted before jumping in again, I'll decide when the story is long enough and reveal the "results"
4. No peaking, it's an honor system but come on, you're only ruining the game for yourself

The first theme will be... Bears

Will was walking through the woods. It was getting dark and he'd promised his mother he would be home before she finished making supper...
"We are born of the blood, made men by the blood, undone by the blood. Our eyes have yet to open... Fear the Old Blood..."

Will was not a very punctual lad. He got distracted easily why a dead leaf on the ground could hold his attention for hours. He was hungry but not starving, and so he gazed up through the leaves to see if he could spot the first evening star. He knew his mother was making supper but sometimes spotting a star was more exciting: besides, he was not very fond of the meal mother was preparing. It had green vegetables called peas in it. 'Yuck!', Will exclaimed under his breath. As he walked beneath the forest canopy, he suddenly heard a low grunt. Then the bushes began to move on his right.
