Quest for the Sword: an RPG

Peril has come once again to Redwall Abbey. Greytooth the Wolf and his ravening horde of vermin are encamped outside the walls and will mount an assault soon! In times like these, the brave woodlanders must seek out the weapon that has always been a true aid to Redwall in times of danger: the Sword of Martin the Warrior.

RULES

I, the GM, will provide prompts for you to respond to as you quest for the sword. You may stay as a group questing or follow your own storylines, but please don’t godmode anyone else without permission. GM will be able to godmode to move the story along. Post as many times as you like between prompts. Post as multiple characters if you like! Characters from the books and your original characters all welcome (no specific timeline is being adhered to), but please civilly sort out who is playing which canon character on a first come first served basis. As this is Redwall I expect this to be mid grade friendly albeit with violence and please CW anything that severely falls out of this.

PROMPT THE FIRST

Abbess Fern has summoned all Redwallers to a counsel in Cavern Hole to discuss what must be done. Badgermum Maple is chairing. All are agreed that the Sword must be sought for: but how shall we begin on the quest?

- Go research in the archives for where the Sword was last seen;
- At night, go and petition the tapestry of Martin the Warrior;
- Sneak up to the attics and ask Prince Starclaw of the Sparra if they have seen anything unusual;
- Something Else?

Junco is looking to earn her wings. Wait, no, she's a firece mighty sparrow sparra and she already has wings! (How else would she fly?? I mean balrogs don't have wings and can't fly or wait a sec, do they have wings but still can't fly? like penguins or emus or kiwi? which are somehow still classified by homo sapiens as birds? hmm humans are strange...)

So maybe she wants to prove herself and become Sparraqueen Junco. Yes, that has a nice ring to it, doesn't it? Upon hearing of a lost sword, she flits off to Sneak up to the attics and ask Prince Starclaw of the Sparra if they have seen anything unusual so as to rule him out as a suspect. Junco is quite sure Prince Starclaw is ambitious enough to steal a mouse's sword.

@Sparraqueen
Junco sneaks up to the attics where the rest of the Sparra clan dwell. But as you approach Prince Starclaw’s high seat, you are seized immediately by two large warrior Sparra!

“What are you here for, youngling?” they demand.

Do you - Bluff? Tell the truth? Try to distract them and find another way through? Fight?? The choices are yours to make…
