I’m very glad to see that the plaza has returned. After I left, I tried to come back one day just to say hi to whoever was here still that I knew from when I was full time. But when I got there it was the exact day that it got hacked and you could only get into some like quick setup forum that was telling people what happened to the plaza and how it had been hacked. I didn’t think it was ever gonna be fixed back up again. I really was very upset and hurt by that whole situation. I thought it was some idiot who had nothing better to do than to make people miserable. But then a couple days ago I was curious about checking to see if anyone had ever maybe written something about the plaza like on Wikipedia or something. I saw something on I believe it was that X or maybe Reddit and someone in there had posted about the plaza and asking if anyone knew about it, etc and how it had been hacked. So, someone commented that it was a rogue admin who had done it. I was like “no way! Why?” There were a good dozen people or so who had been saying that they were at one time members of the plaza and how they missed it and someone came in and said it was up and running again and left a link to it and TADA! That’s how I ended up here

Also, I don’t remember his name but the guy who was the Morgoth admin, who did the coding for the plaza, he couldn’t fix what happened? And did he come back to help set up the new plaza? And what about the guy who started it all? Eru? Is he involved with the new plaza?

They have been trying at the time, but what was deeply damaged was the member database. They gave it up. Lots of people were very upset about it. It were Rivvy and Ennora who did set up another forum right after it in early 2018 and where we dwelt for a while, keeping a core of people together with the possibility to RP. And somewhere in 2020 this forum came online. It is good to see you both back, Uruloki and Roth!

I imagine a lot of people were hurt for many reasons. I know I was because I felt like we had been robbed of a joint endeavor that we had spent so much time in building together. Also the people who didn’t come back because they were just too upset about it. And the fact that now people like me lost their like honorary profile icons. It was Hoth who had given me mine when I stepped down as the mod in the RPG forum. I was a lothlorien elf then and I chose the rank number I think it was 12, the first one that is animated.
Oh well, I don’t know if it’s true that it was a rogue admin who did that to us but whoever did it, I hope later and still it brings them much guilt. And at least the plazanites regathered here.

Hullo, @Rôthpharaz, welcome back! Saw your message in Haradwaith thread, but responding here to keep that thread for RP purposes.
I actually don't think we have an official baddie army currently, most minions seem to have gone AWOL. I think the best bet for you would be to see if there is any ongoing story where you could see if you could join in with a baddie character. Or perhaps a new story can be invented?

Ahhhh. Ok @Pele Alarion and thank you for the info. I’ll hunt around and see what I can get into.
And thanx muchly for the welcome back. I went online out of curiosity to see if there was any info about the plaza and came across this thing on either X or Reddit and they said that a new plaza had been opened and left a link to it so I came over and found there’s still some old plazanites who came into the new one.

I think all the currently active story-weavers are Gondorians, but baddies might come in handy.
