Bean and Wood

"As for myself," said Eomer, "I have little knowledge of these deep matters; but I need it not."

Two movies are coming out soon, Anemone and Rabbit Trap: with Sean Bean (great actor) and one of my favourite actors, Daniel Day-Lewis, in Anemone, and Elijah Wood producing in Rabbit Trap.

I haven't been to a theatre since before the pandemic. Anemone will probably be my return to the big screen movie. Rabbit Trap may come second, although I am a chicken when it comes to horror flicks.

Drifa: Have pleasure in watching them. I just watched the trailers, but they are not appealing to me. I haven't been to cinema in ages, because it is only of those Marvel movies or clones of other big busters. I can't remember what the last movie was I watched on the big screen. The experience, what going to the cinema was back in 2000AD, when great movies as Kingdom of Heaven or Gladiator came out, has disappeared.

Sean and Daniel have gotten old, but that's okay. *g* If you like Horror, watch Rose Red, that is really freaky and screepy. Good for a night full of nightmares when you go sleeping. :stab: :googly:

I love movies. And I love the movie going experience. My favorites though are matinees when the movie theater is all but empty. Most recent movies have been Wicked and a Studio Ghibli feature (for their anniversary, back in theater.). I am looking forward to Downton Abbey and am going to try Freakier Friday out of sheer nostalgia. Anemone sounds good but too heavy for my current headspace.

I still haven't had a chance to see a movie. At this point, there are so many that I would like to watch that I will have to place their names in a hat and pick one at random.

I missed Downton Abbey. AND freakier Friday. I have 2 movie theaters on less than an 8 minute drive and I just can't get out there...
