1. How tall do you think Sauron was at the end of the Second Age, just before he lost the Ring? To quote Tolkien: "a man of more than human stature, but not gigantic". The Dunedain were also said to be quite tall, relative to modern humans, so I would guess in the 6'-7' range for Sauron?

Since the wizards generally took the shapes of mortal Men, who would presumably (on average) weigh more than the much shorter hobbits.

3. Do you know any languages other than your first one? What are they? Several, depending on how we define 'know'. Fluent/bilingual in French. Good reading knowledge of Latin, Old English, Middle English, and Old Norse. Some passable Spanish and German (reading much better than speaking). Very basic Russian and Icelandic. I think the answer would depend on whether or not the wizard sized Duck was being fattened for anything such as a Yuleday, and whether Farmer Maggot was at peak athleticism from chasing small hobbits out of his mushrooms. Given Farmer Maggot’s obvious deep connexion with the land and his plants, and his three doggo familiars, I think his witchhood is unproven, but likely.
3. Do you know any languages other than your first one? What are they? I can speak Mandarin Chinese fluently but I’m practically illiterate in it. I can get by on holiday in Italian and know some weird choice phrases in a variety of other languages including French and Dutch. Also, both church and pig Latin.

Can get along very well in Scots for reading, not so much for speaking.

The bribe is that their punishment stops there. In the unlikely event that this particular Hobbit could write, or learns to write, and then chooses not to let bygones be bygones, well, there was always going to be something. It's important to think of all the light treason you'll be missing out on by investing too much time into hiding the crime you've already done.
