Nah, this thread is more than okay with me. Otherwise it is too difficult for me to get to a right guess and the fun turns to annoyance. But you can create an extra thread if you want more recourse options?

I'm fine either way but @Metatron Omega had raised it on the last page and folks seemed generally amiable to the new thread idea. Splitting into two ongoing threads would work too, I suppose -- not sure how big an issue the 1000+ post thread is.

I think with the number of resources on the internet these days (Tolkien Gateway, Encylopedia of Arda, etc.) and the books one owns; there should be no problem adding a few more resources. Unfinished Tales (UT), for one. And a few others?

I would absolutely support putting Unfinished Tales on the table, as far as sources people can use. Adding The History of Middle-earth is a bit iffy, since it's much harder to get through and I assume not as many people own copies. For my part, I would enjoy getting to draw on it, but I don't want to make the game inaccessible to other regular players.

@Aikári Salmarinian, can I ask what you mean by listing online encyclopedias among the available sources? While the Encyclopedia of Arda is relatively limited in scope, encompassing only "people, places and events ... that fit into the world described in The Lord of the Rings" to the exclusion of much posthumously published material (source), Tolkien Gateway takes an extremely broad view. If anything with an article on TG is allowed, HoMe is just the beginning, which brings us back to the question of whether this game would become inaccessible.

Eldy: I assembled only the suggestions mentioned so far. Drifa posted it in het post before mine. About Home it is sound you say. Though I got the materials now, I haven't read it yet. It is an iffy for me too.
