1. What would a circus in Mordor include? - Hopefully a troupe of dancing cave trolls.
2. What sort of socks would Sauron wear? - Obsidian black knee-high socks with wee golden rings on them
3. What do you usually do to relax? - Doing my makeup while listening to podcasts or reading.

1. What would a circus in Mordor include? Whip tricking and juggling
2. What sort of socks would Sauron wear? Ones that look extremely uncomfortable but are actually warm and fuzzy on the inside
What do you usually do to relax? Write things, run, read, sleep, and hopefully in a few days go to the beach.

1. What would a circus in Mordor include?
Apes from the forests in the south.

2. What sort of socks would Sauron wear?
Black socks to match the rest of his outfit.

3. What do you usually do to relax?
Listening to an audiobook and working on a diamond painting. I have recently bought this one, it's 50 cm x 70 cm, but I haven't decided if I should start it next week or wait until after christmas.

1. What would a circus in Mordor include? Shelob acrobatics.
2. What sort of socks would Sauron wear? These. So he can always feel like he's stomping on Middle-earth and see his enemies trampled under his feet.
3. What do you usually do to relax? Read a book. Go for a jog.

Well I haven't put up questions in a bit sooo...

1. Worst elf ever (Not restricted to Tolkien)and why?
2. -40C or +40C (104F)?
3. Should I start a DnD campaign for Plaza players/would you play? (it would be VTT/Discord based)

1. Worst elf ever (Not restricted to Tolkien)and why? Will Ferrell, hate him
2. -40C or +40C (104F)? -40, cause I can heat myself in other ways, no air con for +40!
3. Should I start a DnD campaign for Plaza players/would you play? (it would be VTT/Discord based) Sure! No time :(

1. Worst elf ever (Not restricted to Tolkien)and why? The elf that wanted to be a dentist in Rudolph.
2. -40C or +40C (104F)? I usually prefer the colder temps because you can always just add more layers and blankets to be comfortable. But the coldest temperature I can remember was like -10C, and that was cold. I can't imagine -40. So I'll take the 40C, because I know I've survived hotter days than that.
3. Should I start a DnD campaign for Plaza players/would you play? (it would be VTT/Discord based). Yes. And good chance (maybe like 80%) I'd be able to play if you had it Friday or Saturday.

1. Worst elf ever (Not restricted to Tolkien)and why? Uhh... Don't know.
2. -40C or +40C (104F)? Better cold than hot!
3. Should I start a DnD campaign for Plaza players/would you play? (it would be VTT/Discord based) Maybe? Though I'm not sure I'd be able to get rid of work and/or sleep to participate, considering time zones.

Imma steal this again because a whole month is more than enough time for questions

1. What book/series have you given the same level of interest as Tolkien? If not same, then what's the next highest?
2. Ideal job in ideal location (don't say the job you have now or where you are now)
3. Would you let me curate a list of audio dramas for you to listen to?

1. What book/series have you given the same level of interest as Tolkien? If not same, then what's the next highest? Nothing quite close to Tolkien but probably the Horus Heresy series.
2. Ideal job in ideal location (don't say the job you have now or where you are now) I'd like to go back and teach at university (without the publish or perish part) somewhere near good Skiing. BC Canada perhaps?
3. Would you let me curate a list of audio dramas for you to listen to? I listen to a lot of audiobooks so yeah I would totally.

1. What book/series have you given the same level of interest as Tolkien? If not same, then what's the next highest? I would have to say the Shannara series by Terry Brooks (haven't read them in a while), though I also read some of the Magic Kingdom of Landover series, but never finished them
2. Ideal job in ideal location (don't say the job you have now or where you are now) Volcanologist on some volcanic island (or around Naples in Italy, since Mount Vesuvius is still my favorite real-life volcano)
3. Would you let me curate a list of audio dramas for you to listen to? I'm not really into audio dramas, so that would be a nada from me

1. What book/series have you given the same level of interest as Tolkien? If not same, then what's the next highest? Cant say I have any that are anywhere near as close. I mean with Tolkien I have written on a fan forum going back 20 years, cosplayed, and gotten together with someone thanks to said forum :P
2. Ideal job in ideal location (don't say the job you have now or where you are now) Best job is no job.. Or working from home where i dont have to talk to people face to face or on phone.
3. Would you let me curate a list of audio dramas for you to listen to? I mean you are welcome to, just dont think I would ever actually use it as I dont really listen to audio stuff :P

1. What book/series have you given the same level of interest as Tolkien? If not same, then what's the next highest? Redwall (book&series), and the Mary Russell novels by Laurie R. King
2. Ideal job in ideal location (don't say the job you have now or where you are now) Everything I do now but getting paid enough to not have to think about money, being based probably in London or NYC.
3. Would you let me curate a list of audio dramas for you to listen to? Yes! I can't promise how quickly I'd be able to listen to them, but I'd love to see the list.

1. What book/series have you given the same level of interest as Tolkien? If not same, then what's the next highest? Hmm...book it would have to be Game of Thrones, even though I only read them once. I've watched the TV series through twice now.
2. Ideal job in ideal location (don't say the job you have now or where you are now) A sports radio announcer. I've been told I have a great broadcasting voice (and also a great face for radio :rasp: :googly: ) and I enjoy watching sports. Baseball's still probably my favorite, even though that game has changed a lot since my childhood. I don't really care for large markets (New York and Boston are fun places to visit, but don't fancy living there). And I'd prefer someplace warmer, so Atlanta. I can change into a Braves fan.
3. Would you let me curate a list of audio dramas for you to listen to? Yeah, I'm always looking for something to listen to.

1. What book/series have you given the same level of interest as Tolkien? If not same, then what's the next highest? Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos comes close, but one has to sift through a lot of racist and classist overtones
2. Ideal job in ideal location (don't say the job you have now or where you are now) A librarian in some out of the way town in New Mexico or Montana
3. Would you let me curate a list of audio dramas for you to listen to? Well that's a meta question :googly:

Thanks @Sorceress! Oh boy, questions...questions. Rapid fire round, because I'm having trouble thinking of questions.

1. Aragorn or Thorin?
2. Bilbo's conversation with Smaug or Bilbo's conversation with Gollum?
3. Would you rather fight a Balrog-sized raven or 100 raven-sized Balrogs?

1. Aragorn or Thorin? Aragorn for sure. Thorin was quite arrogant towards Bilbo, Bard, the elves etc., in The Hobbit and that always kind of rubbed me the wrong way whereas Aragorn is the consummate noble whether as 'Strider' or Ellesar.
2. Bilbo's conversation with Smaug or Bilbo's conversation with Gollum? Conversation with Gollum for sure. Smaug is great but riddles in the dark is iconic.
3. Would you rather fight a Balrog-sized raven or 100 raven-sized Balrogs? Movie balrog? Book balrog? Fall of Gondolin balrog? Regardless I think I'll take my chances with the Raven rather than 100 fire demons of might even if they are raven-sized!

1. Aragorn or Thorin? Aragorn (I'm so over Thorin, which is why I no longer own The Hobbit, mostly because I don't have the room anymore, with so many different fandoms). I kind of felt bad for Eowyn when he shot her down, since I know how I would feel if someone I had a crush on did the same to me (I'd probably be just as devastated).
2. Bilbo's conversation with Smaug or Bilbo's conversation with Gollum? Bilbo's conversation with Gollum, since Riddles in the Dark has always been one of my favorite parts of The Hobbit (both the book and movie versions)
3. Would you rather fight a Balrog-sized raven or 100 raven-sized Balrogs? 100 raven-sized Balrogs would probably be easier to defeat, so I'll go with that

1. Aragorn or Thorin? Going against the grain to say Thorin here. I don't really have a reason to pick him over Aragorn or to put down Aragorn. I think possible outside of their quest to regain their thrones, Thorin has more of a personality. Maybe?
2. Bilbo's conversation with Smaug or Bilbo's conversation with Gollum? Rome's right, Riddles in the Dark is legendary, no matter how cool Bilbo v Smaug was.
3. Would you rather fight a Balrog-sized raven or 100 raven-sized Balrogs? I could give the balrog sized raven something shiny, and maybe become it's friend and/or loyal subject with many blood sacrifices

1. Aragorn or Thorin? Both. Both? Both. Both is good.
2. Bilbo's conversation with Smaug or Bilbo's conversation with Gollum? I'm gonna diverge from the crowd here and say Smaug, because check out the absolute nerve of that hobbit mouthing off to a giant dragon he's come to steal from.
3. Would you rather fight a Balrog-sized raven or 100 raven-sized Balrogs? Absolutely not

1. Aragorn or Thorin? I think they both play their roles well. Thorin the tragic and flawed hero, Aragorn the ideal "rightful monarchy" that Tolkien seemed to favor. Thorin gets one of my favorite lines though, about if more people valued cheer above hoarded gold.
2. Bilbo's conversation with Smaug or Bilbo's conversation with Gollum? I'm with @Moriel on this one. Riddles in the Dark is marvelous and iconic, but I've always enjoyed the Smaug chapter more. Gollum is clearly a threat for Bilbo, but Smaug has all the power and seems in complete control where he can snack on our hobbit any time he wants, he just didn't want to yet.
3. Would you rather fight a Balrog-sized raven or 100 raven-sized Balrogs? My intention with is one was the usual question of would you rather have to deal with 1 really large problem, or lots of tiny easily solve problems. But using balrogs in place of horses is not a good comparison, because 100 tiny fire demons is still a lot of tiny major problems, :googly: Anyway, a balrog-sized raven would still be a big problem, but I'd feel more realistic one to solve.

If Moriel wants to, go for it asking the next questions.

1. What is your favorite writing utensil and why? - Fountain pen (a fine nibbed one) because it's the only writing instrument with witch I can write for a long time without getting hand cramps. And my handwriting is the best when I use a fountain pen.
2. Would you rather be a little too hot or a little too cold and why? - Listen, I am a Woman of a Certain Age™ so I'd rather be a little too cold than have hot flashes all the time. When you're cold you can always bundle up in 50 layers of clothes and look like a giant fluffy ball of yarn. It's a whole aesthetics
3. What is something you'd like to take a class about that you've never had the chance to? - Hmmm, this is a tough one. Oh, I know! Persian poetry!

1. What is your favourite writing utensil and why? About four or five years ago, I discovered the fountain pen, and have never looked back. Something about the aesthetics of it - it's so much prettier than writing with anything else! And I'd much rather use one pen that I can endlessly supply with ink, instead of the cheap disposable ones. Failing that, a sharp pencil has always stood me in good stead though.
2. Would you rather be a little too hot or a little too cold and why? Cold. Because I do not do well in heat. Freeze me and I'll be much happier. (Yes, I miss Canadian winters already.)
3. What is something you'd like to take a class about that you've never had the chance to? Ooo, this is a good question. I've done lots of stage combat but not much other stunt-related training ... something like a stunt driving class would be fun, just to try it.

1. What is your favorite writing utensil and why? Mechanical pencil. All the benefits of pencils: easier erasing, enough friction for better handwriting but with the upside that it's always the same level of 'sharpness'. I like the idea of fountain pens and I have one but my handwriting is much worse with it, you can't erase it, and I always seem to get ink all over myself.
2. Would you rather be a little too hot or a little too cold and why? I'd rather be a little too hot than cold, I think, but I muuuch prefer cold weather and in that situation I'd rather be slightly over dressed than slightly under dressed. But I'd always pick a colder climate over a warmer one for the most part (extreme levels of cold aside).
3. What is something you'd like to take a class about that you've never had the chance to? I'd love to take a real class on some sort of sword play that's not modern fencing, just for the fun of it.

1. What is your favorite writing utensil and why? Pen, preferably Uni-ball extra fine. Because I don't have to press down hard to get a good amount of ink onto the paper, plus the ink dries really fast. Being a lefty, I've always hated writing (particularly writing with pencil)
2. Would you rather be a little too hot or a little too cold and why? A little too hot, because my hands are always cold even when the rest of me is a bit warm. I think it has something to do with poor circulation but it's comes in hand-y (pun intended) to cool my face down.
3. What is something you'd like to take a class about that you've never had the chance to? Sports science. There are so many advanced metrics now, but all the graphs and statistics they put up are fascinating.

1. What is your favorite writing utensil and why? Pen, Uniball 207 Gel - Black Very nice and smooth doesn't have smudge issues for the most part when I'm writing down my DnD notes. Have already gone through 2 of them since August when I started playing DnD. 10/10
2. Would you rather be a little too hot or a little too cold and why? A little too hot, because I swear I am part reptile. I will work better when slightly too warm than if I'm slightly colder than I want to be which will result in me going finding blankets and doing nothing. LIterally made a joke if they made human sized basking rocks with warming lights over them I'd have one. I already use the Sauna my brother has far more often then I should (I'm honestly debating on buying and installing one in my basement bathroom)
3. What is something you'd like to take a class about that you've never had the chance to? Anything with understanding and processing for Archeology I'm absolutely fascinated with archeology and digs (I use to want to dig up everything to look for dinosaur bones or burial sites of Neanderthals etc... I was a strange girl that would put 5 foot holes in the portion of the garden not being used that year and it would drive my dad insane)

1. What is your favorite writing utensil and why?

I used to have a glass pen I loved very much but then I snapped the nib off it. Honestly, a nice biro for me. Fountain pen ink fades.

2. Would you rather be a little too hot or a little too cold and why?

Cold like my heart
Also you can always put on more jumpers, but you can only generally strip down to your skin

1. What is your favorite writing utensil and why? I am a very simple person. The ideal writing utensil is a super crisp pencil that you resharpen about once a paragraph, not because you need to (because of course you're writing very lightly and with a steady hand), but just to ensure the pencil is ALWAYS crisp.
2. Would you rather be a little too hot or a little too cold and why? Always a little too cold. I can always add more layers, you can only take so many off before you're arrested.
3. What is something you'd like to take a class about that you've never had the chance to? The Aztecs.

1. If you could get any kigurumi (the adult animal/cartoon etc onesies) what would it be? Well I probably wouldn't, to be honest, but if you held a gun to my head then I guess maybe Snorlax would be funny.
2. Weirdest disclosable/plaza safe convo you've had with a customer at work? I haven't worked in a customer-facing job for a while but did have an interesting meeting the other day about whether or not we should be able to show certain adult items on pages where customers were already looking at adult certain items.
3. Au Jus or gravy? Depends on the context. With a French dip sandwich? Au Jus all the way. With potatoes and roast beef, gravy for sure.

1. If you could get any kigurumi (the adult animal/cartoon etc. onesies), what would it be? I like Luigi. Super nice colours. No, Bowser, I noticed.

2. Weirdest disclosable/plaza safe convo you've had with a customer at work? Let me see. It was not a secret because the person never told me not to tell anyone, and I did not tell anyone at first because I was unsure. But it was weird. Later on, I did tell my supervisor, which I probably should have done in the first place. Once a customer (while I was working the evening shift at a bakery) asked me if I had 'people cake.' I remember at first I laughed, thinking it was a joke. But the lady's face was blank, and she appeared severe. I then thought I misunderstood and asked her again what kind of cake. And she repeated what she had said, then turned and walked away. My first reaction was 'canidate for the loony bin,' and I forgot all about it. But a couple of weeks later, I saw her again. She was browsing through the isles and looked distressed. Again, I was uncertain whether I should approach her until she talked loudly. She was the only customer in the bakery department, and I was the only employee. She demanded that I come and help her find 'people cake.' I was nervous at this point and stayed behind the cake counter. I responded to her and said that this was not funny and that I would call my supervisor if she did not stop demanding in such a manner, and no, we did not have 'people cake.' Then she did the strangest thing. She started shaking, bringing her hand up to her mouth, and biting it. I ran to the phone and called my supervisor, watching the lady. Before my supervisor arrived, she had left. I never saw her again. But I kept my eye out for her for the longest time. An unsettling experience, I must say. And a sad one. This woman was unstable, or she did like the taste of human flesh. *shivers*

3. Au Jus or gravy? I only have gravy on poutines, and that is once or twice a year. I am not an au jus or gravy type of person. Come to think of it, I am not a serious meat eater either.

1. If you could get any kigurumi (the adult animal/cartoon etc onesies) what would it be? If there's a panda one, I'd choose the panda.

2. Weirdest disclosable/plaza safe convo you've had with a customer at work? Oh my, it's hard just to think of one. Where do I begin?
This is probably the weirdest, but it's also kind of sad. I've been working at a bakery for about a year now, and I run their shipping department. A lady calls to get an order delivered. At the end she asks "What did you say your name was again?"
I tell her my name and she says "Oh no! I knew a [says my name] and he just died recently!"
Me: Oh I'm very sorry, hopefully these baked goods will help you and your loved ones grieving.
"Yeah, he was my son-in-law and hung himself. Left behind my daughter and grand-daughter. No one knows why either, he didn't leave a note or anything. No one knew he was depressed."
At this point she's crying and I have absolutely no idea how to respond because I'm feeling like I just ruined this lady's day for having the same first name as her son-in-law. Again say sorry for your loss, and maybe this gift you're sending will help your family.

She calls back a few days later, but one of our customer service reps answers and tells me this same lady wants to speak to me. I tell the employee to let this lady know that I can't and I'm really busy, but take a message and I'll try to get back asap. Well, the lady only wants to speak to me so the employee tells me "she will call back later." She called the next day and this time I was able to answer, but all she wanted to do was talk about her son-in-law and I basically ended up with a phone stalker. I've always been a good listener, but never expected to get someone telling me they knew someone with my first name who just died and kept calling my work phone. How do you respond and handle something like a phone stalker at your work? Well, get your minions to answer and say you no longer work there,

1. If you could get any kigurumi (the adult animal/cartoon etc onesies) what would it be? I don't really do onesies in any multiverse or variation of myself so I can't conceive of an actual answer here

2. Weirdest disclosable/plaza safe convo you've had with a customer at work? Not weird in the traditional sense, but is is Weird (as in the literary genre): when I was working as a custodian I came across a student I'd previously had a run in with (told me he didn't have to do anything I asked because his tuition paid my salary, fun guy), he looked like he hadn't showered or slept in several days as he lumbered down the hallway toward the restrooms. I say lumbered not out of a love of purple prose but a dramatic sense of the real, he was lumbering and staggering as if he wasn't completely in control of his own motions. I passed him on the far side of the hall, resisting the urge I had to throw him over a bannister from the second floor (guy's an asshole you would have done the same thing). I happened to look back at him as he went by me and saw something in the back of his scalp that could have been something benign like soap on the back of head or... something else. It looked to me, in that instant, that his skull was partially exposed and the skin he was wearing didn't quite fit over. It brought to mind the Children of Old Leech, or perhaps more culturally relevant, Vincent D'Onofrio in Men in Black. Real? 4am delusion? Who knows

Aside from Frosts most recent question it's been a bit of a break between answers...

1. If you could get any kigurumi (the adult animal/cartoon etc onesies) what would it be? Balrog. With wings. because yes wings. (I also know custom makers and can make them myself so I have a good more options I suppose than the traditional pages listed)
2. Weirdest disclosable/plaza safe convo you've had with a customer at work? So I've had a lot of NON-plaza safe weird discussions but I think the strangest one I had with a customer was when I was working in the Lady's Designer department of The Bay decided she needed to tell me how terrible I was that I could not find a shirt for her in her size from the Ralph Lauren Look Book. I finally got which Look Book it was - it was the look book from a year previous and legitimately it was the ugliest shirt I've ever seen and she absolutely was going off on me about not doing everything I could to find a year old shirt that was now on clearance.(It was a 'black' dress blouse type cut with gold rope red and purple triangles horse shoes with horse heads printed on it that were various yellows tans.... It was absolutely hideous and we only had an XXS petite left in it I found out we'd only gotten three how TWO of them had sold were beyond me) She then tried to get me fired for not phoning every Bay in all of Canada to find this shirt (we weren't allowed to call around for clearance items I did tell her I could get her the numbers and extensions to the ladys designer department and she could call them herself as well as the scu to get them to look up stock quickly so it wouldn't take long but that was not good enough.

And because her WEIRD story is so... I don't even know @Drifa gets to post the next questions for everyone.

Thanks, Fuin! That was a true story!

1. Let us talk about shoes. You have invented a new shoe. What would your new shoes be able to do (turn into stilts, sing you a tune, climb up a tree, etc.)?
2. Are you the type who likes to walk in the rain, or do you avoid it?

1. If you could get any kigurumi (the adult animal/cartoon etc onesies) what would it be?
Snoopy.

2. Weirdest disclosable/plaza safe convo you've had with a customer at work?
A conversation with a random guy that started with whey cheese and ended with him asking me, in jest, to marry him the first time we met. The second, and last, time the conversation continued jokingly on the topic of marriage.

3. Au Jus or gravy?
Gravy

1. Let us talk about shoes. You have invented a new shoe. What would your new shoes be able to do (turn into stilts, sing you a tune, climb up a tree, etc.)?
My new shoes would allow me to levitate.

2. Are you the type who likes to walk in the rain, or do you avoid it?
I avoid it as much as possible only doing it if I have to

3. Do you think that someday, in your lifetime, books, newspapers and taxicabs may no longer be commonplace?
I think that paper editions of books and newspapers may bot be commonplace in the future. That people will read books and newspapers online instead.

@Drifa Honestly I had no doubt on that!

1. Let us talk about shoes. You have invented a new shoe. What would your new shoes be able to do (turn into stilts, sing you a tune, climb up a tree, etc.)? They'd let you walk around like you're barefoot but save you from getting stabbed by sharp rocks on the ground (or other sharp pointy things like thorns and thistles)
2. Are you the type who likes to walk in the rain, or do you avoid it? Depends on the rain, if it's a cold miserable day with hard driving rain? I'd avoid it if it's a nice warm day a gentle rain yes. If it's one of those strange misty days where it feel like the rain is just hanging in the air the fog/mist is so thick... Yes I will be outside all day.
3. Do you think that someday, in your lifetime, books, newspapers and taxicabs may no longer be commonplace? No. Not in my lifetime for any of those things. People thought books would die out with computers in the 90s I know photo albums are going more and more out of style (it's harder for me to get them for my mom and myself as we print our pictures off and label them so that we can look at them with ease... I see those being gone by the time I'm gone in terms of common place outside of the odd person like myself.

1. Let us talk about shoes. You have invented a new shoe. What would your new shoes be able to do (turn into stilts, sing you a tune, climb up a tree, etc.)? Gotta be fly or levitate or something like that lets me move much faster with less effort.
2. Are you the type who likes to walk in the rain, or do you avoid it? Generally no, but it rains a lot here so I'm used to it.
3. Do you think that someday, in your lifetime, books, newspapers and taxicabs may no longer be commonplace? We might see a reduction in paper books and paper newspapers but I don't think that they'll be eliminated in my lifetime. Some form of rideshare (whether it's taxi-cabs or Uber or whatever) I think will stick around until all cars are completely automated which may happen in my lifetime, but people will still need to get around and they may not own their own mode of travel, would you consider a robot-driven "car" a taxicab?

1. Let us talk about shoes. You have invented a new shoe. What would your new shoes be able to do (turn into stilts, sing you a tune, climb up a tree, etc.) ?
My new invented shoes would be the equivalent of the Ruby Slippers, from 'The Wizard of Oz', where you need only click the heels together three times and you would be magically whisked to wherever you decide that you would rather be at the time.

2. Are you the type who likes to walk in the rain, or do you avoid it ?
I quite like walking in the rain, in so long as I don't have to be someplace inside afterwards when I am still wet. Walking to work and getting soaked means a very miserable day, slowly drying out. But frolicking about in puddles when it's piddling it down for the afternoon and you know you can easily go home when you are done, to dry off afterwards, is all very enjoyable.

3. Do you think that someday, in your lifetime, books, newspapers and taxicabs may no longer be commonplace ?
People have always left their mark, all the way back to cavemen scratching on walls. I think that if paper becomes less commonplace, people will find new ways and resort to other resources on which to record or mark their messages and stories and information. The internet is the current craze. One day it may be written in blood on flayed human flesh .. *glances about and blames Mordor environment for that image*
Ahem ! As for Taxis, well if my magic slipper shoes are a big enough craze, we will not need Taxis to get from A to B. Just put on the actual invented ruby slipper shoes, click your heels and wish to be whisked right to your destination. Sorted.

1. Let us talk about shoes. You have invented a new shoe. What would your new shoes be able to do (turn into stilts, sing you a tune, climb up a tree, etc.)? Funny you should ask, Naith has already extensively thought about this. He invented the fishkicking shoes and the inflated shoes to walk on water so that you never had to take another ferry, you could just walk. Needless to say, neither is earning him any money..
2. Are you the type who likes to walk in the rain, or do you avoid it? Avoid it like the Wicked Witch of the West.
3. Do you think that someday, in your lifetime, books, newspapers and taxicabs may no longer be commonplace? As they are now, definitely not. But there will be a version of it I am sure.

1. Let us talk about shoes. You have invented a new shoe. What would your new shoes be able to do (turn into stilts, sing you a tune, climb up a tree, etc.)? I would love some shoes that actually protect your ankles and knees when you run without being bulky or noxiously shaped because this apparently is a thing that no shoe can actually do.
2. Are you the type who likes to walk in the rain, or do you avoid it? Doesn't matter if its a sprinkle or a downpour, if I can be out in it, I will be
3. Do you think that someday, in your lifetime, books, newspapers and taxicabs may no longer be commonplace? Not at all. Books and newspapers might take on new shapes and forms but they will always exist. We've been worrying about the decline of reading and literacy for ages and yet we still read and we still write. Books might no longer be brobdingnagian things bound in iron and leather, but there will never be a world where books don't exist. Taxis too, have simply taken on another form in the guise of Uber, Lyft, even DoorDash and the like. The more things change, though, the more they stay the same

1. Let us talk about shoes. You have invented a new shoe. What would your new shoes be able to do (turn into stilts, sing you a tune, climb up a tree, etc.)? The ability to make any surface I'm walking on feel like I'm walking on air. Walking on cement and pavement is awful, kills my knees.
2. Are you the type who likes to walk in the rain, or do you avoid it? I love walking in the rain. If it's a refreshing spring rain. Not near freezing fall/winter rain.
3. Do you think that someday, in your lifetime, books, newspapers and taxicabs may no longer be commonplace? I think newspapers are at that point now. Most of my local newspapers went out of business about 5 years ago and the national publications are switching to online. I'm not sure if taxi services will, I mean there's uber and lyft, but in the US our public transit for the most metro (except NYC) sucks so any major city has to have taxi services for people to get around. I hope books never leave us. I have a kindle for vacations, but if I'm at home I just like holding onto an old paperback book.

Lead me to the right control point in orienteering without thinking.
2. Are you the type who likes to walk in the rain, or do you avoid it?
Yup, why not, have done a plenty of it.
3. Do you think that someday, in your lifetime, books, newspapers and taxicabs may no longer be commonplace?
Some people still read newspapers. Books... hope not! And don't really care much about taxis, but don't think this will go out of business unless there are shoes that fly.

When I click my heels three times they teleport me to wherever I wish. Also, they look great.

2. Are you the type who likes to walk in the rain, or do you avoid it?

I tolerate it. It also depends on the quality of the rain. Warm rain is infinitely more gentle than cold, driving rain

3. Do you think that someday, in your lifetime, books, newspapers and taxicabs may no longer be commonplace?

Books? Goodness no, they’ll become collectors items at the very least. Newspapers: well, one has to put something over one’s face when napping in the gentlemen’s club, but I can foresee a lesser future for them as people receive more news online. Demand for taxicabs I imagine will continue to exist.
