Ok then, is it Eowyn? I'm thinking of when Faramir sees her in The Houses of Healing in the morning light.

Yes, it is Eowyn! Well done, @Boromir88!
I was worried the guesses got derailed a bit with the sunrise/sunset question because that was only part of my clue. I chose it because she defeats the WK at sunrise in one of my favorite passages (quote 1) and she finds hope in the Tower of the Sun while the sun shines on her (quote 2). That's a lot of sun!

"A light fell about her, and her hair shone in the sunrise." - The Battle of the Pelennor Fields
"Then the heart of Eowyn changed, or else at last she understood it. And suddenly her winter passed, and the sun shone on her.
'I stand in Minas Anor, the Tower of the Sun,' she said; 'and behold! the Shadow has departed!" - The Steward and the King
Thanks! Good clue @Lailorn. I forgot about the Tower of the Sun! I was debating between Eorl and Eowyn because with the oath of Eorl there was a mention in UT about sun light, but once you answered no to King of Rohan, and yes to being in ROTK, I was sure it had to be Eowyn.

Well, I happened to be rereading Two Towers and... Is it Grima Wormtongue?
'Down snake!' [Gandalf] said suddenly in a terrible voice. 'Down on your belly! How long is it since Saruman bought you? What was the promised price? When all the men were dead, you were to pick your share of the treasure, and take the woman you desire? Too long have you watched her under your eyelids and haunted her steps.'
In the deeps of Time, amidst the Innumerable Stars
It is @Androthelm and that was my precise reference. I've had Grima on a back-burner to use for this game and wanted to use a clue for that specific line. I thought 'peeping tom' might be too easy, since everyone is aware Grima's a creeper
. It's one of my favorite quotes when I get to that part in the book.
