1. Breakfast, brunch (breakfast food for lunch), or brinner (breakfast food for dinner)? Brunch is more enjoyable to me, because it most likely means that I've had a nice sleep in.
2. Should the trolls have roasted, minced and boiled, made them into a pie, or sat on them and squashed them into jelly? Should have made them into a mince meat pie with jelly.
3. Who would you rather have as pets...Farmer Maggot's dogs or the cats of Queen Beruthiel? Maggot's dogs, because I'm a dog guy.

1. Breakfast, brunch (breakfast food for lunch), or brinner (breakfast food for dinner)? I love all of them. Brunch is a particular favorite, though
2. Should the trolls have roasted, minced and boiled, made them into a pie, or sat on them and squashed them into jelly? I was always intrigued by the process of squashing into jelly, so maybe that?
3. Who would you rather have as pets...Farmer Maggot's dogs or the cats of Queen Beruthiel? Dogs forever!

1. Breakfast, brunch (breakfast food for lunch), or brinner (breakfast food for dinner)? Brunch, definitely brunch. At least, going by my past history, that's by far the most likely one for me.
2. Should the trolls have roasted, minced and boiled, made them into a pie, or sat on them and squashed them into jelly? Roasted.
3. Who would you rather have as pets...Farmer Maggot's dogs or the cats of Queen Beruthiel? The cats, always the cats. I adore cats. Not a dog person, personally. (They're cute. I get it. My grandparents also had a very very big and very very badly behaved dog who could knock either of my parents over, never mind me as a small child. So put me around barking / jumpy dogs and to this day I have to suppress the urge to hide. )

1. Breakfast, brunch (breakfast food for lunch), or brinner (breakfast food for dinner)? - Breakfast. Specifically, huevos rancheros. Brinner is just wrong, and those who eat it should feel shame.
2. Should the trolls have roasted, minced and boiled, made them into a pie, or sat on them and squashed them into jelly? - Pie > jelly, so, the latter. Though pecan pie would be better than Dwarf pie, so ... maybe it's a tossup.
3. Who would you rather have as pets...Farmer Maggot's dogs or the cats of Queen Beruthiel? - Doggos of course!

1. Breakfast, brunch (breakfast food for lunch), or brinner (breakfast food for dinner)? All of them. Though, to me, brunch is an entirely different meal that is neither breakfast nor lunch
2. Should the trolls have roasted, minced and boiled, made them into a pie, or sat on them and squashed them into jelly? Made them into a pie. Meat pies can be rather tasty.
3. Who would you rather have as pets...Farmer Maggot's dogs or the cats of Queen Beruthiel? Considering I'm allergic to cats, I'll take the dogs.

1. Breakfast, brunch (breakfast food for lunch), or brinner (breakfast food for dinner)? Breakfast. All others have far superior options to fill them with. But I would not oppose breakfast twice, either.
2. Should the trolls have roasted, minced and boiled, made them into a pie, or sat on them and squashed them into jelly? The former, plenty of dwarf mince to make a decent pie filling, with halfling shavings maybe.
3. Who would you rather have as pets...Farmer Maggot's dogs or the cats of Queen Beruthiel? Cats are only ever cool from a distance. Across video screens or millenia in Egyptian walls to be precise.

1. Breakfast, brunch (breakfast food for lunch), or brinner (breakfast food for dinner)? Brunch, I don't usually eat at conventional breakfast hours anyway. Eggs benedict, coffee, and maybe a mimosa? I'm in.
2. Should the trolls have roasted, minced and boiled, made them into a pie, or sat on them and squashed them into jelly? Roasted, then made a pie. More flavor.
3. Who would you rather have as pets...Farmer Maggot's dogs or the cats of Queen Beruthiel? Dogs, I'm allergic to cats.

1. Breakfast, brunch (breakfast food for lunch), or brinner (breakfast food for dinner)? I refuse to be bound by anything so ridiculous as a meal schedule. I will eat spaghetti for breakfast, pancakes for lunch, and ice cream sandwiches for supper!
2. Should the trolls have roasted, minced and boiled, made them into a pie, or sat on them and squashed them into jelly? Definitely should have roasted them, I hear cooking with clay is all the rage when it comes to roasting. Not that I'd advocate for eating people
3. Who would you rather have as pets...Farmer Maggot's dogs or the cats of Queen Beruthiel? Cats, I love dogs don't get me wrong, but given the choice, I feel like the dangerous one would be the fun one.

1. Breakfast, brunch (breakfast food for lunch), or brinner (breakfast food for dinner)? Brunch. My sleep habits could generously be described as "unconventional", so my first meal of the day is often in the early afternoon. It usually consists of either breakfast food or leftovers from the day before. I enjoy breakfast foods as a late night snack as well. I rarely have breakfast for dinner, unless I'm out to eat at a diner, in which case I'll probably order pancakes regardless of the time of day.
2. Should the trolls have roasted, minced and boiled, made them into a pie, or sat on them and squashed them into jelly? Squashing into jelly would likely be the quickest and least painful, so I'll go with that for the Dwarves' marginal benefit.
3. Who would you rather have as pets...Farmer Maggot's dogs or the cats of Queen Beruthiel? Cats are relatively low-maintenance (except when they're hungry, of course), so I have to pick them.

1. Breakfast, brunch (breakfast food for lunch), or brinner (breakfast food for dinner)? Breakfast. I'm usually up early and I have a habit of making myself a bacon, egg an cheese croissant with hashbrowns probably 3-4 times a week. So good.

2. Should the trolls have roasted, minced and boiled, made them into a pie, or sat on them and squashed them into jelly? Pie. Any kind, dwarf pecan pie sounds very good. @Túrin

3. Who would you rather have as pets...Farmer Maggot's dogs or the cats of Queen Beruthiel? I'm definitely a dog person, but Maggot's dogs always gave me an impression they were very loud dogs. I like chill and quiet dogs, out of that playful puppy stage, when all they want to do is eat and cuddle.

Turin almost had it this round, because of pecan pies, but his first answer was extremely disheartening to me. @Taethowen take away the next questions. I think you read my mind, because originally I was going to ask would you rather have Gwaihir or the Witch-King's fell best as a pet, but went with the vanilla dogs or cats. So, all of them, plus a fell beast sounds good.

WELL THEN. Sounds like a great question to ask either way!

1. Which would you rather have as a pet: Gwaihir, the Witch-King's fell beast, or an oliphaunt?
2. What is your favorite Old Plaza memory, whether IC or OOC?

1. Which would you rather have as a pet: Gwaihir, the Witch-King's fell beast, or an oliphaunt? Gwaihir, because he could take care of me (if he felt like it) instead of me taking care of him.
2. What is your favorite Old Plaza memory, whether IC or OOC? Wow, talk about a tough question. I think it was the OOC friendships I made, both in OoMe and MSN Messenger (back then). Even shared some phone calls with folks since I couldn't visit in person. IC would have to be accidentally winning Trillian's heart (or at least eye) in StarQuality Designs while playing mascot (with Sil featuring as a streaker).

1. Which would you rather have as a pet: Gwaihir, the Witch-King's fell beast, or an oliphaunt? Gwaihir is sentient so that one's out, and an oliphaunt will shire all over everything and stomp you to death, Witch-King's fell-beast at least to have a measure of training so... maybe
2. What is your favorite Old Plaza memory, whether IC or OOC? @SilverDragon and I both arrived around the same time (within a week I think) and we started RPing out some character background right off the bat. While it never really got completed, it was hella fun and made me feel like I was in the right place

1. Which would you rather have as a pet: Gwaihir, the Witch-King's fell beast, or an oliphaunt? Gwaihir is not a pet, and the fell beast and the oliphaunt would stink horribly. But I believe that an oliphaunt would stink less than a fell beast, so I'll choose that.
2. What is your favorite Old Plaza memory, whether IC or OOC? I expect this may be a common answer, but definitely the friendships I made. The countless hours I spent chatting to Plaza friends on MSN were some of the best times I can remember. Of course, these friendships also played out in RP form, and some of the old pubs were just the best places to hang out.

1. Which would you rather have as a pet: Gwaihir, the Witch-King's fell beast, or an oliphaunt? Um, is none of the above an option? If not, I'll pick whichever one is least likely to kill me.
2. What is your favorite Old Plaza memory, whether IC or OOC? It can't be said enough: the friendships. And the fact that there are so many of you that I haven't communicated with in years and we all jumped back in like it was nothing and are enjoying IC and OOC adventures.

1. Which would you rather have as a pet: Gwaihir, the Witch-King's fell beast, or an oliphaunt? Gwaihir is not a pet, but I would love a giant eagle as my friend, so Gwaihir, but on equal terms.

2. What is your favorite Old Plaza memory, whether IC or OOC? The people, the feeling that you're in the right place and you belong. Coming back after a break, however long, and just picking up where you left off. Even if picking up means making new friends over messenger or in RP because your old friends have left or are busy...there's always more friends!

1. Which would you rather have as a pet: Gwaihir, the Witch-King's fell beast, or an oliphaunt? I dont think Ketchup would be too happy if I said either the WK's fell beast or the eagle, actually he would be quite pissed. So the oliphaunt. Damn that thing is gonna need a lot of food.. Thanks Ketchup!
2. What is your favorite Old Plaza memory, whether IC or OOC? OOC all the friends I made over the times and IC WD's switch from Rivendell to Mordor.

1. Which would you rather have as a pet: Gwaihir, the Witch-King's fell beast, or an oliphaunt? - Gwaihir. The Witch-king's steed sounds ugly, and I think that Gwaihir would be easier to feed than an oliphaunt.
2. What is your favorite Old Plaza memory, whether IC or OOC? - Good times with the debating league and lore forums.

1. Which would you rather have as a pet: Gwaihir, the Witch-King's fell beast, or an oliphaunt? Oliphaunt, just for all the jokes I would make about 'the oliphaunt in the room.' Plus, my house has a very high ceiling, so I think it would hold an oliphaunt, it would definitely be cramped.

2. What is your favorite Old Plaza memory, whether IC or OOC? Definitely the lore forums where I felt I was learning something new every day. And one of the positives about coming back is it had been so long since I cracked open the books and now I feel like I'm re-learning everything again.

1. Which would you rather have as a pet: Gwaihir, the Witch-King's fell beast, or an oliphaunt? Gwaihir obviously! Not in the sense of a usual pet as in I'd feed him at whatnot, but it would be pretty awesome to hang out. I am sure he'd have lots of interesting knowledge to share and if he ever wanted to take me for a flight (up to him of course), I'd be okay with that, too!

1. Which would you rather have as a pet: Gwaihir, the Witch-King's fell beast, or an oliphaunt? Definitely an oliphaunt (sorry Gwaihir). No Legolas allowed.
2. What is your favorite Old Plaza memory, whether IC or OOC? I've had so many lovely ones! I think being chosen as a Maia for the Cottage ranks pretty highly. I poured so many hours into writing and reviewing back on the Old Plaza, and writing means so much to me anyway, that I felt so honoured to be chosen and to work alongside some of my favourite Plaza people.

2. What is your favorite Old Plaza memory, whether IC or OOC: Well, in my eyes I have two Old-Plaza's: Old Kingdoms Plaza and Old Regions Plaza. For Old Kingdoms Plaza, it was probably the Barracks War (different Ranger divisions pranking each other's dorm wings), which Arnyn took a very.. active.. part in. XD For Old Regions Plaza, it would have to be the Midwinter Ball where Kaylin met her future husband (sappy, I know, but there it is)

1. Which would you rather have as a pet: Gwaihir, the Witch-King's fell beast, or an oliphaunt? Having a giant eagle would be amazing, but I have respect for Gwaihir's dignity and sentience. So sign me up for that fell beast baby.
2. What is your favorite Old Plaza memory, whether IC or OOC: Oof, big question. I think my favorite was being taken under some older Rohirrim wings and being taught how to role-play in the Mark, circa 2007.

1. What is your favorite emotion to role-play? And if you don't RP, what do you think WOULD be your favorite?
2. You must choose: would you rather wear foo pink toe stockings (visibly, so in sandals and with a skirt/shorts) to work/a class presentation or give a weird speach in front of a crowd?
3. Another choice: beard of bees or maggot gloves?

1. What is your favorite emotion to role-play? And if you don't RP, what do you think WOULD be your favorite? Fear that stems from a total lack of competence.
2. You must choose: would you rather wear foo pink toe stockings (visibly, so in sandals and with a skirt/shorts) to work/a class presentation or give a weird speach in front of a crowd? I give speeches basically every day that students think are weird, so that one.
3. Another choice: beard of bees or maggot gloves? Wow, this is HORRIFIC. I think the maggots are yuckier but the bees are scarier. I guess it depends on how long I have to wear it. If it's not very long, the beard, if it's a longer time, the maggots.

1. What is your favorite emotion to role-play? And if you don't RP, what do you think WOULD be your favorite? hmm... contentment. It might sound boring, but... yeah.

2. You must choose: would you rather wear foo pink toe stockings (visibly, so in sandals and with a skirt/shorts) to work/a class presentation or give a weird speech in front of a crowd? I wear crazy socks already, at least in winter, but I don't do foo pink for anything. And I've already given my fair share of weird speeches in front of crowds so... no biggie. Definitely the weird speech.

3. Another choice: beard of bees or maggot gloves? Beard of bees. Maggots are *disgusting.* Bees are cool.

1. What is your favorite emotion to role-play? And if you don't RP, what do you think WOULD be your favorite? Rage. Blind, seething, all consuming rage. There are so many different ways to portray it, and it's never quite leads to what you expect (cue the tape of my Towers of No Return character eating the spider)
2. You must choose: would you rather wear foo pink toe stockings (visibly, so in sandals and with a skirt/shorts) to work/a class presentation or give a weird speech in front of a crowd? I've acted, and substitute taught before, weird speeches are my jam

1. What is your favorite emotion to role-play? And if you don't RP, what do you think WOULD be your favorite? Joy - it makes me feel happier, and it makes the Plaza happier, and it's nice to have a place I can come and be joyful even when life isn't.

2. You must choose: would you rather wear foo pink toe stockings (visibly, so in sandals and with a skirt/shorts) to work/a class presentation or give a weird speach in front of a crowd? I've given weird speeches in front of crowds before, it's not so bad, I'll take that one.

3. Another choice: beard of bees or maggot gloves? Bees! Bees are lovely and soft and velvety and won't hurt you unless they feel threatened, and the humming would be soothing and also people would keep away from me.

1. What is your favorite emotion to role-play? And if you don't RP, what do you think WOULD be your favorite? Cold and calculating. The one RP I've done I tried to make my character like Roose Bolton. It was quite fun actually.

2. You must choose: would you rather wear foo pink toe stockings (visibly, so in sandals and with a skirt/shorts) to work/a class presentation or give a weird speach in front of a crowd? I've done many weird speeches in front of crowds so it's routine at this point.

3. Another choice: beard of bees or maggot gloves? beard of bees. Preferably bumble bees. A beard of Beorn's bumblebees

1. What is your favorite emotion to role-play? Deep sorrow and regret/memory of emotional pain. I always cry writing them. Clearly I need the catharsis.
2. You must choose: would you rather wear foo pink toe stockings to work/a class presentation or give a weird speech in front of a crowd? I regularly do both.
3. Another choice: beard of bees or maggot gloves? I'd wear a beard of bees or maggot gloves only if I was dead.

1. What is your favorite emotion to role-play? And if you don't RP, what do you think WOULD be your favorite? Curious? Or maybe just out of control angry orcs
2. You must choose: would you rather wear foo pink toe stockings (visibly, so in sandals and with a skirt/shorts) to work/a class presentation or give a weird speech in front of a crowd? Definitely the speech. I don't fear public speaking, and socks + sandals are a nope.
3. Another choice: beard of bees or maggot gloves? BEES

1. What is your favorite emotion to role-play? And if you don't RP, what do you think WOULD be your favorite? Oh I don't know! I like so many I can't choose, but I do like giving a character a good internal struggle or conflict.
2. You must choose: would you rather wear foo pink toe stockings (visibly, so in sandals and with a skirt/shorts) to work/a class presentation or give a weird speech in front of a crowd? Definitely the socks! I don't mind looking a little bit silly.
3. Another choice: beard of bees or maggot gloves? Bees for sure. They're not going to sting me, right? ...Right?

1. What is your favorite emotion to role-play? And if you don't RP, what do you think WOULD be your favorite? Anger! :rage: I spend so much of my day suppressing my anger towards rude or ignorant customers, that it is great fun when one of my RP characters has a reason to be angry and I get to type it out.
2. You must choose: would you rather wear foo pink toe stockings (visibly, so in sandals and with a skirt/shorts) to work/a class presentation or give a weird speach in front of a crowd? I'd prefer to do a weird speech in front of a crowd. The thought of wearing toe stockings just creeps me out.
3. Another choice: beard of bees or maggot gloves? Maggot gloves, because I know the maggots aren't going to hurt me, and they'd be much easier to remove.

1. What is your favorite emotion to role-play? And if you don't RP, what do you think WOULD be your favorite? I love role-playing anything depressing. So, depression, despair, suffering, agony, etc. They say write what you know sooooooo.
2. You must choose: would you rather wear foo pink toe stockings (visibly, so in sandals and with a skirt/shorts) to work/a class presentation or give a weird speach in front of a crowd? I would give a weird speech. I've got public speaking confidence falling out of my wazoo, I'd have no issue with that.
3. Another choice: beard of bees or maggot gloves? Good lord. The beard. OBVIOUSLY THE BEARD.

Never had to clean maggots out of an open wound, have you? :headshake: Any little break in the skin on your hands and maggots are trouble. (Though they are used for medical purposes, especially on badly infected wounds.) But I've dealt with flystrike on chickens and believe me, maggots can hurt a thing.

Well let's assume I don't have any open wounds on my hands then. 😛

1. What is your favorite emotion to role-play? And if you don't RP, what do you think WOULD be your favorite? - Determination, standing fast in the face of adversity. Whether it's physical, mental, or other.
2. You must choose: would you rather wear foo pink toe stockings (visibly, so in sandals and with a skirt/shorts) to work/a class presentation or give a weird speach in front of a crowd? - Weird speech, all day every day. I was a professor, I'm used to talking about things that people find weird, and having an utterly disengaged audience. What makes it uncomfortable is when I'm not comfortable, and wearing something like that would be very much out of my style, so I'd feel uncomfortable, and that would come through in my speech.
3. Another choice: beard of bees or maggot gloves? - Can I choose a punch in the face instead?

2. What is your favorite Old Plaza memory, whether IC or OOC? Oh gosh, which one too pick? I think stealing Silendra's wife and then the marriage thread that ensued. Or did I steal Silendra from her other wife? I don't remember the details but it was hilarious.

It was Nerys!!! And uh, I can’t quite remember who stole whom from whom but I’m definitely still outraged about it in some way. Didn’t this start the whole Minioness Mudwrestling Matches?! I still have the banner for that somewhere...
