A MemENT in Time (Competition)

Hoom hom, and welcome to the Meme Event!

Similar to other Plaza contests such as Caption Contests and the MorPix thread happening now in The Black Land, this is an image-based competition.

How it Works
1. I will post a topic, theme, event or person that is LOTR-related. Memes can be about either the entire topic or a portion thereof (for instance, if the topic is "Legolas and Gimli" a meme about just Legolas is acceptable).
2. Open to anyone from any kingdom to submit a meme (there are a number of sites out there that make meme-creation easy and will store your created images, such as ImgFlip)
3. You do not have to use a pre-established meme, you are welcome to take another image and caption it. Please submit original content (i.e. don't google "Legolas memes" and post them, make one of your own!)
4. Keep the captions PG-13 maximum but PG preferred, this is a family-friendly site after all
5. The contest will be open for 6 days. On the 7th day we will have a poll to see which meme is the favorite. The next day we'll start a new topic.
6. Limit 5 entries per person per week.
7. Have fun! (and feel free to react/comment on other people's memes as well!)

Alright, I'll kick this off. For my first entry I chose to use an established meme format rather than captioning a picture.

@Rochindil Eltoran nice! This works on multiple levels because I believe they threw rocks and stuff at the Orcs in Helm's Deep as well (at least in the movie version). Also at Isengard, which had both regular orcs and Uruks.

So I completely forgot about the "deadline" for this compENTition, but in the interest of fairness and fun on the new plaza, let's say the deadline for Merry and Pippin memes is Sunday and we'll run a poll or something to vote on our favorites!
