Hi all,
I've known of the Plaza for about fifteen years, ever since I had a conversation with this really cute nerdy guy one late night in one of our college dining halls. Even though I'd been an active online Tolkien fan since high school, somehow I'd never come across it. Life hit and I wasn't very active online anymore (I married said really cute nerd and we have a bunch of kids). Then the Facebook group started and he said "hey, you should check this out!" but I really don't do Facebook anymore, and then he said, "Well, now we have a forum again and it's nostalgic and awesome," and after a few weeks I said, "OK, but I'm probably going to mostly make fun of you to all your online friends."
(I do dig the format though. Why mess with greatness?)
And even though we just met, you are very welcome to call me Mrs. Mojo for short. :smiley8:

Hi all! I made my way here from the Facebook page that I have been checking for the last two years about plaza updates. (I'm not on Facebook, by the way.) I first joined the plaza back in 2004 as Nenedhel, a Teleri archer that loved Lothlorien. I had the privilege of being Galadriel for about six interesting months back in 2005-2006, but then life and studies got in the way and I had to step down.
I'm really excited to see the old plaza pages and format. It really IS very nostalgic. And the people!! I do believe I recognise almost everyone and it's lovely! I am not sure how active I am going to be, it's just nice to be here and know that the plaza is still running! ^_^

Thank you, Veowyn! I wasn't a very active member most times. I would make a flurry of posts in a short time (a month or two) and then disappear and come back again a few months later for the next flurry of posts. Looking back I realise I'm pretty seasonal in my habits! 
Also...towards the latter part of my activity I would constantly change my username and kingdom. So I was Helm of Rohan for a season, and Nen the Wizard, and I think my last avatar was Nen Lalaith. When I was Galadriel, I was Nenedhel Shadowheart and then Shadowheart for a season.
