Frost
First up, we have Frost (also known as The Man in Black and Mr. Spider) the Black Númenórean. Born to mildly affluent parents, Frost showed an interest in the arcane from an early age. He was sent by his mother a politician in the upper echelons of power in Umbar, to live with the Snowmen of Frozen Wastes. There he lived for many years, learning the subtle magics of the hard, cold people. It was here that he was given the nickname Frost, after he stayed out all night on a hunt and came back to the village with his hair covered in frost and ice. While there, he also met a man who called himself Gætir, the Mountainkeeper. This man, if man he be at all, was a cultist and worshiper of the Witch-King. He showed Frost the many avenues of power that the Witch-King offered, and Frost was easily swayed to join the mystery cult with his strange mentor. He was given tattoos, powerful markings that lent him power and connection to the ancient Lord of the Nazgûl. While living with the Snowmen, Frost met Iduna and the pair fell in love. Frost was forced to return to Umbar though, barely learning she was with child. Seeing his determination to go back and bring the woman and her squalling babe to Umbar, his father delivered him a forged letter, saying that both mother and child had perished. Broken by grief and anger, it was then that Frost began to search for a way to stave off death and even bring people back from beyond the spheres of the world. His searching led him to become a pirate, much to his mother’s distaste who wanted her son to enter the world of Umbarian politics and rise through the ranks of the Great Houses, particularly that of her own, House Castamir. For a time, he was able to stave off the ambitions of his mother, the Witch-King, and even the Web, living in Dale with a woman he planned on marrying, however the call of the Shadow was to great to be ignored. He was able to win renown through his many ventures and expeditions into lands unknown to many in the Black Lands. On one of his trips, he found out about a sect of elves that are utterly disconnected from any of the elves still remaining in Middle-Earth. Ancient, unscrupulous, and unknowable, he sought them out through the use of a dangerous spell that sapped his lifeforce. In the end though, he found one, a creature that called themselves “The Everdusk”. He made a deal with the elf and was granted knowledge and wisdom for a price that would be named later. Despite his connection to the Witch-King and the powers he offered, Frost has recently found himself more and more drawn to a different Nazgûl: Adûnaphel, known as the Quiet Lady and the Knight of Umbar. To what end their partnership will go Frost can only guess, though he knows he is in the middle of some power struggle between the two Númenórean lords. He has also opened (or reopened) the old Necromancer’s Guild and turned it into a proving ground for perspective recruits for the Black Host, further ingratiating himself with the movers and shakers of the Black Lands. He has also been touched by a thing known only as "The Web" a force of nature, or perhaps outside of nature, that has granted him certain abilities, spiders and webs and a more persuasive talent for manipulation and control. He and his partner and companion, Zôrzimril, have recently begun a journey together, learning to shift their forms from one gender to the other, adding another layer of complexity to already complex individual.
