Plaza Elections: Nominations Are Open! (w/ bonus announcements)

Hello all -- before the regular ol election details that you all probably remember anyway, I'll cut to the chase with 2 announcements about some admin-side changes for this round:
1) Re: me. I'm sure it will surprise no one to hear that I've been a bit of an absentee demiurge this past term and (and probably a while before for that, for the sake of completeness). The other, proper admins have done a great job carrying my hollowed husk along but I don't feel very good about continuing to wear the I Run The Website hat when I don't really.. you know, run the website. So, I'm going to take that hat off and (un)officially promote myself to Narv Moris, Tech Support. Which for now means the hosting account is still in my name and I'll (try to) keep fixing the site when it breaks and such, as well as help with anything that's asked of me - but any decision making on the site I will leave to the elected admin team - I intend to step in only in the remote possibility of any really egregious or Terms-of-Service violating, basically. Oh and I'll also run this election, just for kicks - but what happens for future ones will be up to the team we elect this round.
2) Re: The Team. Bearing in mind my own exit from the 'adminning' side of adminning and the shall we say.. more tranquil pace of the site in recent months, we decided that going forward, three elected admins might be a good way to go, at least for the time being. So that's a drop from the current 4+me=5 setup, but it seems likely doable and the odd number can be nice for breaking ties on those contentious when-should-we-put-gandalf's-santa-suit-on type hot-button decisions.
So! With all that out of the way (and please feel free to ask anything you like here about any of the above), on to electing! Apologies for the copy paste job but I really think i nailed it last year so why reinvent the wheel:
Between now and December 7th...ish, please send up to THREE admin nominations to lotrplazaelection [at] gmail.com, using this kinda format for each if you like:
Your Plaza Username:
Plaza Name of your Nominee:
[Optional] brief description of why you are nominating them:
Again, that email is a private one that only Narv has access to. So please don't post nominations here, but do feel free to say that you sent them in so I can confirm that they got through correctly. As ever, self-nominations are heartily encouraged if you feel like giving adminning a try!
From December 7th to 10th or so, I'll get in touch with the nominees to find out if they're interested in accepting the nomination and be included on the ballot. If they are, I'll ask them to pop a little blurb into the Blurb Thread as usual.
Then from December ~10th to ~15th, we'll vote! This time you'll be able to cast THREE votes. Your top choice will get 3 points, your second 2, and your third choice will get 1 point.the top two vote-getters get in no matter what, and then the third is chosen by me, in what I intend to be my final act of Plaza political power. And as usual in all likelihood I'll go with the third-most-vote-getter, but I'm going to reserve that right regardless for this round, just in case the is a very clear gap in skills/experience/location/whatever that I think would be best to fill going forward with a small team.
And finally from whenever-voting-wraps-up to the end of the month, we'll transition in the new crew and then I will retire to Nurnen and focus on more pressing issues, like getting to 200 points. Gonna have to think of limericks or something
