Lord of the Rings Fanatics Plaza

All right, after much searching, I got lucky earlier today and found a thread with some Mayor icons actually loaded!

If you have other icons from this wild time in our Plaza history, or can point out who where what and when, it is much appreciated.

The Mayors held ranks for 4 months at a time, and the first set was put in position in April 1st of 2016.

Gimli was Hlaevang
Aragorn was @Aigronding Mordagnir
Boromir was @Arnyn

I was gone from regularly being on the plaza by the time Mayors became a thing, so I think this is the first I've heard of that role.

It looks like some neat icons though.

Here's mine for umbar:

One does not simply make a Boromir icon. He is a man of layers and pride. Not with 10 000 images could you do this. It is folly.

As far as Eriador goes (or went ..),
I know that RivvyElf (@Dwarrow Elf ) was the first mayor of Rivendell.
I think it was @Winterwolf for Lindon.
And I’m fairly sure that Beren Camlost (@Aigronding Mordagnir ) was mayor in Bree and the Lone Lands.
I can’t recall if we had a mayor for the Shire, at least in the first elections. If that helps at all. :smiley10:

Ooh this is fascinating! I had no clue that mayors were ever a thing on the Plaza. Guess I never logged in during the latter days. :oops:

I really like @Tarawen's and @Pele Alarion's colourful admin icons in that thread. Had never seen those before.

Concerning the Mayors of Eriador:
Rivvy was the first Mayor of Rivendell, as Elrond. Cassie, I think you were the next one to hold that position, as Arwen.
I was the Lone Lands Mayor as Gandalf. There was no Shire Mayor (ironically) for the first time, then I took the job, as Sam. I think there was no Lone Lands Mayor for the second time, unless it was Aig?
Winterwolf was indeed the first Mayor of Lindon, then Aig , who (I think) also served twice as Mayor of Bree.

Shows some of the other mayors - Likus in Eriador, Lady A in Wilderland. Aikari is in our discord although not on Narvlaza, so she may have some stuff saved?

It was Angelikus Snape (Likus) as Gandalf, mayor for the Lone Lands, in the Second Term.

Oh right! I vaguely remembered someone else was Gandalf in our second term... But not more than that.

Oh, thank you all so much-- this is excellent! There's so much I'd forgotten. I'll be working on re-creating the OP soon.
