This is great! Twitter is my preferred Social Media platform so this is excellent.

We could do something similar with a "Today in Middle-Earth" tweet series that would expand beyond just the Fellowship's journey to other known dates (for instance, Aragorn's birthday was March 1).

Mmm, once upon a time, I started the process of doing this, but for the hobbit. I think I have a timeline, a page or so of tweets for the very beginning stuff, some character breakdowns. I had also made accounts for some characters and started accounts with scheduling software, but that was many years ago and no longer accessible.

And I got too detailed, looking at it now, so it's like, the first day of the dwarves showing up mainly it looks like, and already is like two pages of tweets. XD I was really setting myself up for a long haul...

I'm sure there's much better ways to do all that. Plus, admittedly, I've never been very active nor excellent at twitter-- as I think was made evident by my attempt at the project.

Are you on a phone by chance? 2003 plaza was not exactly the pinnacle of responsive web design, so I ditched the sidebar for the mobile site. I should add the FB / Twitter links to the 'quick links' menu for everyone now that you mention it though.

If you have the sidebar but no twitter link on it, it's probably a cache thing. It's always a cache thing. I hate caches.
