The colours are fresh,
And white paper is ready,
Let‘s paint the new year.

Lovely. And hopeful

White winter had come
Now the rain washed it away
Latvia's winter

Thank you, @Eldrith
and of gratefulness
whispers my heart in silence
as the sun rises

(I love "Let's paint the new year" too! @Esme)

"A celebration,
Twisted by corporate greed.
Valentines Day, babe."
Clearly I am
not cynical about the commercialization of today.

Reasoning is dead.

A couple for this rainy Monday in Indiana:
A lazy day off,
Snuggling with my daughter,
Fresh Prince & RPs.
Writer's block again,
Staring at my laptop screen,
C'mon Maggie, write.
Sausage links, fruit juice,
Mountain Dew and popcorn too.
Not a good breakfast.

Bumping this thread up,
to new, adventurous skies.
Words on the white clouds.
