@Lailyn I sorry but I’m a bit useless, I honestly can’t remember which icon I wore! Maybe after I’ve slept on it I’ll do better.

I was definitely Eomer initially though until I became Theoden towards the end of the rule when we switched to regions; R16 looks pretty familiar I think. @Shivased remembers it a lot clearer than me.

@Allacan Beorhtlig Yes, you were Eomer until you switched to Theoden, and I got to steal your Eomer icon! Best point of my ruler-ship. *huggles old icon*

I was Eowyn starting in 2004, not 2003.

I think so, it certainly looks very familiar, then R16 when Shivased stole my handsome face.

F-3 is --Lillyth and Ithilvalan if my memory serves me right. It was the last Fimbrethil made before the changeover to regions if I am not mistaken.

So I've figured out from the way back machine that I must have taken on Treebeard in June 2009 if that helps you update the OP @Lirimaer .

I've also figured out something else - did ruler icons change during the change over to regions? Because I think maybe in that case I had two different icons. Problem is I can't actually seem to get into any threads from pre-region plaza to check what icon I was wearing. To be honest I didn't even remember that I was a ruler during the change-over (we need a face-palm emoji!!), but this thread, which I cannot get into, was most definitely in a pre-region plaza snapshot:

I don't know how many of the early people are the same people with their name changed but am confident from Ele and Eleowyn through to myself as these were 'my' rulers (proudly). @Bereth might remember those early days better.

@chronicles of narNIA Yes ruler icons changed when we moved to regions, partly because the timeline changed from Fourth Age to Third Age. I certainly recall R16 from the change to regions but I have a different version of it on my photobucket: https://oi5.photobucket.com/albums/y163 ... encopy.jpg - this was likely an early image that hadn't gone through the proper arty edciting yet.

It’s possible that I have some old mayor icons on an ancient hard drive at my parents’ place, since I think I made some of them. But I’ll have to wait till I can get my hands on that hard drive to be sure.

Makes sense. Yes, I was pretty thorough in my search for these old icons-- and I guess I am grateful to have found this old screenshot! Ohh @Tarawen that'd be amazing if you ended up finding any. I really loved that Boromir and Aragorn iteration.

@Sil’s Fool I think for some reason they deleted the ruler icons for people who were rulers immediately before Regions to make space for the region icons, as it appears to be pretty consistent across all the Wayback machines that any ruler icons in the year or so before regions are gone or are the Region icons despite the archive pre-dating Regions.Sadly this is also the part of Wayback that appears to have not archived many actual threads. Does this theory fit with your missing icons?
