So ahh had no way of sharing this earlier with anyone on 5he plaza. I am now an aunt.

My little brother had a baby (she was a month premmy but was in pretty good shape and got put of the hospital the day before our province went into covid lock down.

My mother says much to my brother's dismay that she reminds her of me (and looks like me she's got my eyes am the 9nly one in the family with a dark ring)

Pray for my brother and his wife. If she's like me they'll need all the help they can get

Congrats on becoming an aunt, @Fuin Elda! That's awesome. Such excellent timing that she could come home just in time before the lockdown. I've heard so many crazy stories about fathers not being able to visit the hospital to see their own baby because of tight COVID rules.

I am paying a Lawyer to do the taxes titles etc, I also have a CPA in the family so have that well covered. So yeah SOMEONE else is doing the taxes... I just have to pay them.

I would have loved if they were Festivus icons. I think if we start airing the grievances for 2020 we'd probably still be airing them come next year so maybe we should just skip that part.

Don't hold back Lail! It ain't good for the soul. I was actually contemplating on writing down all the bad things that happened in 2020 on paper and then burning the paper(s) at midnight. Kind of like when we burn a figure during Carnival that is blamed for all the sins and bad things that happened in the past year. I'll have to see about that though...

But Nessa I am a hold it all in til I can't take it and explode type!
I like this idea. If I were confident I could manage it without burning myself/my house/we do not trust Lail with flames I'd do it.
