One of the major projects embarked on since the demise of Plaza Mk I has been the Aubusson project to create tapestries based on illustrations by Tolkien. Shortly before hid=s death, Christopher attended the opening of an exhibition devoted to them at the Abbaye du Thoronet, not far from his home in Aups. BTW, don't believe the date. Christopher died on 16 January 2020.

I remember this video; the tapestries are really impressive work, and seeing Christopher's reaction is something else. Aubusson had another video about the making of the tapestries which I found pretty interesting, too.
