It's SUMMER. It's HOT. You thought it was normally hot in Mordor? You thought it was normally hot on the slopes of Mt. Doom?! THINK AGAIN. It's hotter than the hottest patch of sand in farthest Rhûn when world is tipped at exactly the right angle for Arien's righteous fury to concentrate on it and turn it to glass. It's hotter than the ass end of a fell beast that flew too close to the top of the mountain when it was erupting. It's hotter than Írimë coming out of a nude hot spring Baywatch style. IT'S FREDDING HOT, PEOPLE, AND WE DON'T HAVE ANY A/C.

The year is 3014 and the Shadow of the Hill of Sorcery is stirring once more, abuzz with foul intentions and devious mechanization. Under the watchful eye of the Black Easterling, Dol Guldur is preparing for the great wars to come. Orcs are gathering, along with wolves, spiders, vampires, foul spirits of the forest, and desperate men, all heeding the call of the Dark Lord.
With myriad locations to choose (from the Fortress to the Cave of the Whispers to the Spider Dens), there is enough space here to tell whatever story you want to see played out. Be sure to visit the Shadowthrone though, and present yourself before the Lonely Lord himself.

Minas Morgul – The Dead City
Minas Morgul has arrived in Free RP form! Near the mouth of the Morgul Vale on the rocky knees of the Ephel Dúath, Minas Morgul sits, keeping a ceaseless watch in the arms of the valley. Once the silver-shining city of Minas Ithil, the Tower of Dark Sorcery now glows with a constant, sickly, green-tinged corpse-light, its every corner permeated by the dark power of its master, the Lord of the Nazgûl; the Witch-king of Angmar, and his minions. With a plethora of locations to choose from, from the Witch-king's tower itself to the libraries, military barracks, theatre of the macabre, marketplace, pub, kennels, fighting spider pits, and more, where will you choose to explore? What kind of minion will you be? How high will you rise?
The year is TA 3014, but all years of Minas Morgul are open to your machinations. Will you dare?

Or perhaps as a trader looking to exchange goods for exotic furs and pelts or art and items that you can only get from the Lossath? Delve into the wild and harsh lands of Enedwaith as a Dunlending? See how long you might be able to survive on your wits and wills in the badlands? Dig up ancient bones of nameless creatures long dead since the ages before the Sun and Moon?
Either land at the Far reaches of Arnor falls well beyond the reach of Lords or Kings, leaving you safe from reprisal from them and able to forge your own path.
Set in TA 3014 but you are welcome to change what year you are in for your own stories!
