I Have Never...

And of old it was not darksome, but full of light and splendour, as is still remembered in our songs.

I wear sports beanies and other hats, but not baseball caps. I have never attempted to do ballet.

Hmm, I don't think so. Have you made a habit of checking often who is currently on the plaza and what they are doing?

I've never attempted, but it's something I've recently decided I wanted to try. I've never been ghost hunting

No. Never. Nope. Never done that, nope. Sorry. Nope. Don't know what you're talking about. What genre of writing do you find the most rewarding to use here on the Plaza?

I have been ghost hunting - Helped Haunted Manitoba investigate the Fort Garry Hotel once that was fun. I have never been kicked out of a bar

I honestly find serious/dramatic RPing to be my favourite to do. Especially as a non GM perhaps because I gm way too much for DnD type games and have never actually gotten to just play in the last year and a bit. Have you ever refreshed the 'stats' page to see who pops up under Random User?

The closest I've come to being kicked out of a bar is being told (nicely) to shut up at a Starbucks. I have never ice skated backwards successfully.

I don't think so? I did just realize you can click on the "WHO IS ONLINE" text for details. Have you ever made an account on another site specifically for Plaza purposes?

I've barely managed to skate forward successfully  I have never "successfully" used an ouija board.

I know I had a photobucket account a long time ago and now I have a imgur account for the plethora of icons I use. What kind of music/sound do you find the most inspiring to write to?

I have never used one successfully or unsuccessfully. Apologies to all ghost, spectres, apparitions and other entities! I have never had pumpkin spice coffee thingys.

Soundtracks, usually those by Bear McCreary. But I do listen to other composers that are not Bear McCreary  How many characters in a scene/post is (for you) too many characters in a scene/post?

The only pumpkin spice anything I've ever had is pie. Pumpkin pie. (I have made a chocolate pumpkin spice disinfectant spray for costumers though) I have never actually found the weird side of Youtube.

Depends on the post, but generally more than 3 that are all doing things at the same time to the same depth (so not tertiary characters serving drinks and disappearing) I start having issues with where people are and when things are happening unless it's very well written. Have you ever created a plot map/web for something happening on the plaza to try to understand where characters are and what they are doing?

@Nessa Saelind Honestly Bear McCreary is top of the line for writing especially epic dramas... Rosalin and Adama is a go to track for me for anything that is sad and love related so 1000% I get you.

I have never seen the weird side of YouTube either. Not sure I want to, really. There is enough weirdness just reading the MSN headlines. 😳 I have never seen a living Venus flytrap plant. They look so cool in photos.

No, I have never plotted on plaza with a map or the web. Have you ever RPed an animal?

I can't remember accurately whether or not I've seen a Venus flytrap live haha. I want to say yes but as I can't remember any specifics of the encounter I may end up lying. It also may have just not stuck with me though. I have never gone on a cruise.

I have definitely RPed an animal, here and there. Several different kinds, always only briefly for a thread. Have you ever taken so long to make a post with a character you forgot what their personality was like?

Neither have I, nor do I want to. Not sure how being stuck on the ship can be seen as a way of relaxation... I have never been on a rollercoaster.

Ah yes, it has happened; I've even forgotten how they look. Have you ever won a game on the plaza?

I have been on many roller coasters! They're lots of fun, and only a little terrifying when it's the rickety ones at the county fair that make weird rattling noises when you swoop around the curves. I have never played ice hockey.

I'm sure I have, I've played so many! There's not one that stands out in my mind at the moment, though. Have you ever RPed as a child on plaza?

I have never played ice hockey either, since I found learning how to skate challenging enough! I have never owned a dog (countless cats, but no dogs, probably because I used to be afraid of them when I was younger)

Yes, in the Krampus Is Coming game in the Shire, Elanor Starsley is a Hobbit child (though I've yet to play her anywhere else, since she didn't officially die, or survive for that matter, since I never continued on with the game). Have you ever switched kingdoms, only to realize it was a mistake, since your main character could never adapt to life in this particular kingdom, so you switched back?

I have not personally owned a dog but my parents did when I was teen so kind of close enough? I was still expected to help take care of him, so I've done a lot of the care work that comes with owning a dog anyway. I have never dug more than a foot into the ground.

I have switched kingdoms plenty of times, and wizards (as is made necessary on nuplaza) can kind of fit anywhere, so I never felt an RP need to switch back, just a strong desire to wear the wizard hat, which I can do still now! Have you ever written a song for the plaza?

Neither have I. I have never lived in one state/province/county/shire/etc and worked in another.

I was around largely before those were a thing. What new things, ie not a resurrection of the old plaza, would you be interested in creating here?

I have worked in a different county than I lived, but that's it. I have never stolen or eaten someone else's food out of the fridge at work.

Does an Eagle Kingdom count? I would love to see/participate in RP in Numenor. I also like seeing places and peoples that are less well fleshed-out by "canon" get some Plaza screen time. And because I want to see what other people have to say, I'm recycling: What new things, ie not a resurrection of the old plaza, would you be interested in creating here?

Uh, erm... I'm not sure about this one. When I was working as a receptionist at a hotel one of the duties of the night shift was to check if everything was locked up, turned off etc. It was an unspoken agreement that we were allowed to raid the fridge where cooks placed leftover cakes... So maybe? Yes? *thinking face* I have never fallen asleep in class

Hmmm, like you @Lailyn I'd like to see more "screen time" aka space given to places and people and ages that didn't get a lot of attention in canon. To see how the Other interacts with the known, the contrast and similarities. Maybe to have a space just for that, not just a thread as we have now... And more misfits  because I like to twist canon as much as I possibly can for the lolz. Have you ever found yourself so stuck with your MC that most of the choices you had were so bad that killing your MC sounded like the best idea ever?

I have not only fallen asleep in a class, but multiple times (across weeks) in the same class, while sitting in the front row every time. Horribly embarrassing but it felt like I literally couldn't stop. Class wasn't even boring, quite the opposite, my body was just giving up. I have never been to Sea World.

Does MC stand for main character? If so then the answer is no, not even close. MC are also my own and my wife's initials, not that that changes my answer. Have you ever changed your mind mid-post on a story or character arc? (And did you go through with the change?)

I have caught many a fish, but I have never seen a live sea creature or been to Sea World. I have never had a caffeine drink like, Red Bull.

I may have changed my mind, but if I did I can not remember, or I did it without knowing I did. :googly: Have you ever had a nightmare that involved a character from the movie version of The Lord Of The Rings? Like Gollum turning into Chucky? Or Wormtongue (who was played by Brad Dourif who was Billy Bibbit in the film One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest  ) turning into Gabe from Stephen King's Pet Sematary, and slicing your tendon with a scalpel?

Do we count one sip because it was disgusting? If we do then yes. If not than no. I have never drunk coffee.

That... seems terribly specific. Are you okay??? I have had nightmares involving the Three Hunters but they weren't the bad guys in it. They just were there. Have you ever written a crossover story involving LOTR characters?

I drink coffee on a daily basis, so it's a yes for me  I have never mowed the lawn.

No, can't say that I did. If you could RP as just one canon character from any age/place which one would you pick and why?

I've mowed quite a few in my day (I realize that could be taken many ways). I have never been on water far enough to lose sight of the shore.

Sauron, because he's far, far more complicated that most fans or RPers give him credit for, and I'm also arrogant enough to think I could play him. If you were to RP a sea creatures, what would it be?

On the water no close but there was still a smudge of land visible - not shore itself though. Over the water yes I've flown over the Atlantic with no land in sight 6 times. I have never regretted ending a relationship.

Ohhh that's tough. It depends on what I want to RP, if I want to be crafty and smart an octopus. If I want to be dumber than a bag of rocks a jellyfish. Have you ever gotten to meet cast/crew members from any Tolkien based films?

I have regretted ending a relationship -- but only once, briefly, and it was because we shared a birthday. I have never lived full-time with my partner.

I haven't met any cast or crew, although I'd love to a lot. If you were to play any role in the movies, who would it be?

I have been with my love for 30 years. I have never successfully been able to do the limbo.

In the movies, hmm. I guess I would be one of those Dwarves that stood around shaking their fists in Rivendell. If you had to choose a Maiar as a character, which one would you be?

Neither have I, but I haven't attempted it in a decade or two. I have never been stung by a jellyfish

Again, I will always pick Sauron for this, he's more complex, interesting, and engaging than any of the other Maiar Tolkien wrote about. Where is your "writing zone"?

I have been stung by a jelly fish it was the worst. -10/10 would not do again. I have never seen a big cat in the wild

Hmmm physically basement with a heater and some snacks... mentally, somewhere two hours past sleep deprived and fueled by copious amounts of sugar. Which book based character from Tolkiens works would you be most interested in meeting in person?

I've never had a gull's nest on a balcony, either! I have never successfully propagated a succulent.

For IC posts, it's common for me to rewrite and revise, but very rare for me not to eventually just post the thing. Have you ever recruited a RL or off-Plaza friend to the Plaza?

I have not either. I have never gotten my full motorcycle lisence.

I have never even ridden a motorcycle, lol. (Honestly, though, a friend's dad died in a really awful freak motorcycle accident where he was swept off an overpass in high winds on Thanksgiving day when I was in my early 20s. I've never had any desire to ride a motorcycle since.)

I have never, ever, gotten my potatoes planted on time despite every intention and effort to do so. *ignores garden*

Well, old plaza was how I discovered NaNoWriMo, which completely and utterly changed my life so... yes.

Has your character, IC, ever recruited another character to participate in something?

I have never grown potatoes. Too many black squirrels that like to dig where I live. 😊 I have never been on a unicycle.

I am not sure if my character, in IC, has recruited another character, in IC, to participate in something. It all seems pretty complicated to me, and if I did, it was probably by accident. :googly:

I have never been on a unicycle, either. I am quite confident I'd fall off immediately if I tried! I have never bungee jumped off a bridge.

I also have never bungee jumped off a bridge or otherwise, I really want to though. I have never played a human character in a tabletop game.

I have never danced salsa either. I am not much of a dancer. I have never eaten Rock Cornish.

Yes!! I have accidentally deleted a very long post and had to completely re-write it. Several times. I cried. I was tickled pink to see the Save Draft option on NuPlaza. It was like a miracle.

I also have never eaten a fried scorpion (or any bug for that matter) I have never managed to get my entire house clean at one time.

Honestly I'd absolutely love to see Haldir/Rumil/Orophin or Celeborn I haven't really seen them, Galadriel too (she may have been done but not recently) What is an RP idea you'd love to play in but not run?

I have never managed to get my entire house (appartment) clean at one time either  I have never enjoyed the taste of beetroot :rasp:

I think a really nice idea would be an RP about a 2nd fellowship that secretly gets sent out by Elrond to perhaps backup the fellowship of the ring, but eventually also run into their own 'problems' and get involved into the battle of the ring, etc. Would probably be super fun, but so complex ^^

It's such a basic question but, what are your top 3 favorite characters (Valar, etc included) in the lotr universe and why?

I kinda like beetroot actually. I have never stayed in a single job for more than three years.

Favorite characters: Mairon, the Witch-King, and Beorn (because bad guys are more dynamic and interesting by and large in my opinion, and the third... because bears)

What's the best thing your most evil character has done and what's the worst thing your most good character has done? I promise the grammar works if you look at it hard enough

I have stayed at many jobs for more than three years, but out of necessity not desire. I have never really found a career goal.
Evil one refrained from eating one of her racing snakes. Good character drank excessively and made a fool of himself by falling down and cracking his head.

(I run on spite I swear) I have never found a way to make asparagus palatable.

Elf - probably Nessane for a name rather than my standard Melviriel If you had to be an ORC/GOBLINOID which sort would you be and from where (Goblin town, Isengard,Angmar,Mordor)

I don't usually eat asparagus, perhaps once or twice... because I'm not sure what to do with them. I have never met a bear in the forest (well, hopefully this won't change what with increasing bear population in Latvia).

Don't wanna be orc! But fine, if I have to - maybe some sort of Uruk-hai from Mordor. Have you ever posted something you were embarrassed about, and yet did not delete it?

I have had several surgeries - 4 in total all medically required one which I was suppose to stay overnight it was that serious (I talked my way out of it threatening to rip my IV out every time I woke up) I have never had a cosmetic surgery

No I have not though I have planned on wearing the next rank for a bit but not a fan of the rainbow glow so will likely drop back back down after that. (possibly bounce around for a bit until I get to the burning flower) Have cooked/baked something from a recipe shared on the Plaza/nuplaza?

I have never had cosmetic surgery. I have never worn "a foundation: a liquid or powder makeup applied to the face to create an even, uniform colour to the complexion, cover flaws and, sometimes, to change the natural skin tone." :googly:

I have made something from recipes shared on the Plaza. One was Findy's Corn Bread Recipe (Finduilas Faelivrin), and the other was a pancake recipe with bananas posted by Raven, Raven's Banoffee Pancakes. It was in a thread in the CoLP -> Other Media -> Chip The Glasses and Crack The Plates

I also have never participated in a Marathon - I have never managed to finish an adventure race (I severely sprained my ankle on obstacle 1 and finally dropped out at obstacle 12 out of 25 because I couldn't do the obstacle it needed too much ankle strength and I'd already punished it insanely)

Any baking shop in Hobbiton or the shire really. I'd probably be the hermit witch that lives in the woods near chet or something knowing me lol Have you finished all of the Plaza Quizzes?
