It's gone. We will never get it back, so I'm throwing out everything it was. I am oddly okay with this as honestly there are more LOTR wiki's out there than you can shake a stick at and some of them are darn good, and don't go into 'story telling mode' which made Old Library terribly inconsistent (and always bugged me as librarian)
I had a brainwave and just wanting to get permission (possibly a subforum to keep Lore tidy because this is gonna get hella messy to begin with as I build up my idea with hopefully help from others) Is a quote bank for the NuLibrary something I have not overly found elsewhere. You get the odd quote but nothing cohesive on a singular subject. Eventually we'll probably want it to move to HTML pages which honestly if I get the frame CSS I can do in a heart beat there may even be the libraries frame art somewhere that can be used.
No postulating, no bits and bobs of ideas to make some article. Just quotes. Nice clean quotes. With page numbers and Book editions etc. As well as FILM quotes because lets face it a good portion of our community was brought to it by the movies and while they are not 'Tolkien canon' they are a decidedly influencing factor in a lot of fans lives and should be respected as such.
And all of the quotes would be wrangled into their topics so
