Is this man belonging to the Rohirrim?

I'd like to guess some more, before getting an additional hint! Especially now we are so close!

13. This character is not one of the Rohirrim, but he may (or may not) be from a related people.

(I'll hold off on the additional hint for now, then.)

Is this Fram, one of the Northmen and therefore ancestors of the Rohirrim, who killed Scatha the Worm? And who was disrespectful against the Dwarves when he wouldn't give them their lost treasure, but gave a necklace of dragon's teeth to them instead? :hammer:

@Eamila Bolger is correct! The answer is indeed Fram son of Frumgar, for the reasons you mention.

Yay! Very nice one @Eldy Dunami, I had to dig in some information to get to that! Tyrion's F was helping me big time there!

Let's see... I am going for...

What am I?

Clue: locked up

Would this thing be considered precious by most people/beings/characters in Middle Earth?

Wow, hard question. I am not really sure. 'Precious' might be the wrong word... and 'most' leaves a lot to argue as well. Let me say it this way:

1. This thing would probably not be considered precious by 'most' people/being/characters in Middle Earth but to many it definitely would. There are who think it is, but also who probably don't think so.

I'm not sure about the rules or ethics of trying to retroactively clarify a question, but by "precious" I was thinking "valuable" rather than personal/emotional/cultural attachments - I suppose you could still have varying value across Middle Earth...

For my actual next question:

Is this thing mentioned in connection with (meddling in  ) the affairs of wizards?

@Elvhhelm that was what made me wonder what to answer ;-) In that case: Yes, it is precious/valuable!

6. This thing wasn't really mentioned in connection with the affairs of wizards.

7. This item was indeed made by men.

Yes! You are right, @Elvhhelm ! This is indeed Herugrim, 'locked up' in Grima's chest, where more things that had been lost were found. Therefore also my short doubt about it being stolen: of course Grima referred to the fact that the King had asked him to store it away, but the King would not have meant for him to store it with his own belongings.
