You are very welcome to post as any character from this fandom whether you have the icon or not.

We’ve opened Dogfight! to get you started, but please do share your own threads and ideas here, or go right ahead and open your own activity! Please also volunteer here if you’d like to be involved but you aren’t sure in what capacity yet. Dogfight is also open for someone to claim as TR!

We hope you enjoy it (you voted for it, after all): you’ll find that all the ranks do not have a point limit, so you can choose any one you like - and of course, kingdom changes are free too. If you don’t like any that the kingdoms have to offer, come on over to Admin Mess where you’ll find more silliness... Or if you don’t want to dress up for Hallowe’en at all, keep your normal face and ignore all the pranks and shenanigans as you wish!

I had voted for a Star Wars theme and I'm overjoyed to see that Imladris has it !

I'll be in The Dogfight! I'll make a catina pub thread soon and a galaxy Free RP ! I've always wanted to try Star Wars fics but never had the time because of the Plaza and writing for my own world. So this should be fun .

I love many of the icons, especically the EU Mara Jade one ! We're fortunate to use any character on the list this year since I'm going to write a very much alive Mara... Thanks Admin Team!

Imperial Navy Starfighter Squadron "Black 8" has a unit history, but the Navy's soul-crushing bureaucracy cares not a whit for such things as "morale" and "esprit de corps." Instead, Black 8 is composed primarily of pilots fresh back from the inner rim pirate-hunting operations - very successful operations they would add - but were augmented with some pilots from the ill-fated Bellicose 13 and inherited the maintenance crew and starfighters from the mysteriously de-piloted Vengeful 42. This hodge-podge of discrete elements (some would say "booby-trapped lava-field") was then given to Lieutenant Commander Juno Eclipse to command. Her detractors have gone unsatisfied. Be it a personal devotion to their commander, a desire to prove themselves as not-cursed, or just a sheer cussedness that is unwilling to roll over and die, Black 8's pilots and support crew have drawn together and shown impeccable attention to detail and clinically-executed space superiority in a variety of mission types, from subjugation to counter-smuggling. (One never-identified wag dug up some vids on an old cantina game that involved a variety of spherical balls, one of which was colored black and imprinted with an "8." This so-called "8-ball" quickly became an unofficial squadron symbol or logo, appearing on gear, tools, and badges in spite of QA's shrill insistence that regulations allowed no personal customization of issued property.)
