SPECIAL REPORT - The Return of the ARPYS

In the neighbouring kingdom of Imladris we are currently experiencing the APRYS; a celebration of the finest RPing, Art, Lore, and Poetry found here on the Plaza. The ARPYS have been shut down for over a decade at this point after 2 years of operation on Old Plaza have returned with a mostly new leaders, and a new way of gathering and voting for the various categories. The ARPYS this year saw members of Nu Plaza send in nominations for the various categories which were then curated and check to make sure that they were acceptable; several of which were disallowed for this version of the ARPYS and put into next years ARPYS nominations before they were put into polls for members to vote.

Voting took months but now we have reached the apex of the ARPYS which is the presentation ceremony itself which has had a multitude of fantastic attendees thus far and we are expecting many more. So far only a few of the categories have had their winners officially announced - the Art, Lore and Poetry categories have been presented officially with more coming soon, including categories where Khazad-Dum has members nominated.

Current Official winners thus far are as follows:

Best Lore Eldy Dunami with the response to "A question of canonicity"

Best Art Narv with Winddancer

Best Poetry Androthelm with his poem, In Darkling Winter

We will continue with our special report on this as more categories are officially announced, and as a reminder all are welcome nominated or not to join in the celebrations which can be found HERE
