Welcome to our new home, hopefully :smiley24:

As I mentioned in the other thread - I'll be monitoring how we do on this new setup, both in terms of how many resources we use up and any reports of outages or super-slowness I hear about from all of you. Our options range from bumping up our plan with this host (not a huge deal), to going back to the old setup (ugh) to going to another new one (very ugh). As before, if anything is broken or wonky, let me know (here or in the 'Bug Reports' thread).

Other than that... carry on!

(PS If you didn't see the other announcement and have no idea what this thread is referring to, don't worry about it, just some technical junk with the servers).

Good for you too that your points balance has almost climbed to zero. It's going to be weird not seeing you with negative points. You may need to delete a few of your posts for us, just to keep things normal.

But Narv, why are you suddenly a cave troll? It's true that software engineers live in dark caves, but they tend to grow beards and build stuff. You build stuff, like this plaza. Trolling is something else entirely. :smiley10:

@Ercassie Try a hard refresh (that's when you refresh the browser's cache for a specific page). To do that, press Ctrl+F5.

Thankyou for the advice @Galastel :smiley17: It still doesn’t want to play, but my broadband is also being weird with the tv today. So I think it may be something weird at this end. At least I can still see/manage small plaza posts via iPhone until I can figure it out. :smiley16:

@Rior Laegiel If you see that message, it means (more or less) that somewhere along the convoluted path from your computer to the Plaza's new server, some machine still has the old IP address for the Plaza stored in its cache and told you to go to the old host instead of the new one. Until every Internet Service Provider in the world gets the new info (which is the part that takes ~24 hours sometimes), that's gonna happen sometimes, sorry.

That might not explain every issue some people are having, so I'm still working to see if anything else funky is going on, but it is the reason for the above message (and the timeouts people were experiencing off-and-on prior to me putting that message up).
