Welcome back, @Nolewen! I don't know if we ever met officially- (I was Morwen Daegomir / Toasty for most of my time, was a Mayor of Gondor for a bit, so maybe we crossed paths in that time), but regardless, it warms my heart to see people returning!

Hello! I was around the Plaza in 2005-07, more a reader than a prolific poster. The only contribution I can really remember was my satirical "Gandalf has wings" post (I wonder if anyone could dig that out...) Just saw this relaunch mentioned on Reddit and I'm pleasantly surprised to see a lot of familiar names in this thread already. Winddancer I'm sure it was you who told me you feel awkward speaking Danish in public because non-speakers think it sounds funny and laugh at you! Or was that someone else?

Hi! I was around about 2008-2012 (back when Isengard was a thing!) and I used to write a lotr parody in the Cottage of Lost Play. I am so happy to see the plaza is back

Howdy! As I've mentioned in a few other places, I happened (or was it fate?) to google the plaza last night and almost fell out of my chair when I discovered it....was a thing again? Thanks to everyone who's worked to pick up the pieces, it does my heart all sorts of good to see so many familiar names ;)

Hoping I'll manage to do more than just lurk, I really need something "outside the house" these days. Like lots of folks here, I was active like 2004-2007, back in the olden days when I was a teenager, and now I'm an old fart yelling at the kids on the lawn. Glad to be in such esteemed company for said yelling.
