IK Racing Season 1 Race 5

The dusty plains of Gorgorth normally held little more than orcs trolls and other forces of the Dark Lord all huddled under the watchful gaze of the Great Lidless eye. Now however after much argument with management there were... chairs and crates and creatures not so foul upon the Plains. There were even... colourful streamers. One was not sure if it was distasteful or entertaining. And more than once did the organizers have to stop an orc from attempting to lash spectators that had come to watch and even participate in this the last race of the first half of the inaugural Inter Kingdom Racing season.
There were many great rows of crates, each row a different size, and flagged with different colours, with the names of the kingdom over them. There was quite a ruckus in a few of them as some of the animals knew it was time to race and they were quite excited, others were lazy lumps and fast asleep. All of the crates held animals that any person might use to race for that particular kingdom should they not have their own.
Imladris crates hold hedgehogs and are posted under the colour #408080 (Teal)
Lothlorien crates hold foxes and are posted under the colour #00BFFF (Light Blue)
Khazad Dum crates hold badgers and are posted under the colour #FF40FF (Grey)
Gondor crates hold skunks and are posted under the colour BLACK (No colour code required)
Rohan crates hold raccoons and are posted under the colour #00BF00 (Light Green)
Shire crates hold coneys and are posted under the colour #800080 (Purple)
Fangorn crates hold squirrels and are posted under the colour #008000 (Green)
Isengard crates hold rats and are posted under the colour #0040FF (Royal Blue)
Mordor crates hold snakes and are posted under the colour #800000 (Dark Red)
No cheerful voice here, instead there is a menacing sort of screech, possibly a nazgul announcing the race or they might be trying to find out when the food vendors for the race will be opening.
"We invite all racers to chose whichever kingdom they would like to participate as, but please only participate for ONE kingdom, all of our major announcements for the race will be made over this channel. (#FF0000 - BRIGHT RED)

Rules of the Race
Any kingdom member may race for any other kingdom.
You may not use multiple racers or represent multiple kingdoms per race
All posts must have at least 100 characters of RP accompany every post
Please post in racers kingdom colour to make my life easy
Please make your rolls known at the bottom of your post in bold Examples:
1 A roll or
2 B rolls and 1 A roll
You may take multiple rolls if you so wish to a maximum of 15.
There are 15 turns per race.
Please make your last rolls by MAY 30th.
GM updates will happen DAILY if there is racer activity
A Rolls:
1,3,5 - Move forward those amounts
2,4,6 - Move BACKWARDS half those amounts
B Rolls
A spread of -5 to +10 depending on the roll. These WILL come with RP requirements, some are lightly lore based but there are no wrong answers as long as you RP them fully!

Naelia with Asmodeus
Though Naelia was taking a break from Lava Snake Racing after Asmodeus won the last race she participated in, she thought that it was about time to re-enter the race once it came to her native homeland. She heard from her trusty Orcish helper, Orngor, that this race was being held on the Plains of Gorgoroth and breathed a sigh of relief. The reason the minioness did this was because during the practice run for the upcoming competition (which was held in Cirith Ungol, the home of Shelob the spider, or whatever she actually was), she lost a previous snake to a spawn of Shelob and wasn't planning on repeating the experience any time soon.
Luckily, her latest snake (who was trained by Orngor himself, before letting Naelia in on that he had another contender that she could enter in the upcoming competition if she wished to try her hands in actually competing) never suffered the same fate as Smaug had. Yes, they were both curious as a common housecat, by the minioness doubted that Asmodeus would have allowed himself to become defeated so easily. It was rumored that Smaug may have been a little on the unlucky side (which is probably why it was so easy for Orngor to acquire him, unlike Asmodeus, who was only allowed to be purchased if he was trained first, probably to prevent a similar thing happening to Naelia's newest Lava Snake).
As the minioness freed Asmodeus from the crate, she whispered to him: "Are you ready to become the victor once again, since this is territory you're more familiar with, so should have no trouble transversing the chosen racetrack?"

Jab Jira with Muck-raker
She swung the crate down, with little care for its occupant. The race was about to begin, and she wanted to win. Opening the hatch, she reached into the crate and grabbed the snake, not caring if it bit her. She had scars on her hands and arms that came from worst things than the fangs of a lava snake. Tossing the snake onto the race track, she sneered at it. It lay curled at first but then stretched to its full length. It knew better than to cower in fright. Looking over at the competition, the orc sniggered to herself.
'The competition is weak! Race now Muck-raker! Race for Jab Jira! Race and win!'

And with the last race of the first half of the competition it seems that we've got snake against snake thus far! Should be quite the interesting match up, I wonder if Jorgy will show up in a snake onesie.
@Lady Winchester as Naelia with snake Asmodeus (1 B roll - 18) -3 Apparently your snake is not ready to become the victor again and thinks it's about become the Fell Beasts breakfast, convince your racer otherwise.
@Afird Splitax as Jab Jira with snake Muck-raker(1 A roll, 1 B Roll - 4, 10) -2, +1 Your snake decides that if it wants to stay out from under the feet of trolls it needs to move forward. Where does it finally find safety from stomping troll feet?

I have a brain, sss. My human (Jab Jira) may not think so, but I do. I lack emotions and I can't hear a damn thing, but I can sense those boulder-like stomping sounds and slither far from them if I choose too. Or, I can pull the old hitch-a-ride trick. That may be the ticket seeing as how the vibrations are all around me, ssss. I will just slither up beneath the stomper's bark and cling to its trunk (troll leg). I will coil around it tightly whilst the stomper senses my cold-blooded body upon its flesh and squirms, advancing in an agitated fit, down the race track. I may get battered around some, but I will be further ahead in the race. When the blows become unbearable, I will drop off and continue to slither out of reach of the stomping feet, sssssssssssss. I have a brain, sss. My human (Jab Jira) may not think so, but I do.

The snake seems to have come up with an uncanny and brilliant way to navigate the stomping trolls!
@Afird Splitax as Jab Jira with snake Muck-raker(1 A roll, 1 B Roll - 3, 5) +3, +2 Your snake seems to manage to get through the trolls to find something worse. A real estate agent trying to sell your snake one of the many fortifications as a time share. Does your snake buy in or eat the creature?

He was anxious to appear friendly, at any rate for the moment, and until he found out more about the real estate agent trying to sell one of the many fortifications as a time share, whether he was quite alone really, whether he was good to eat, and whether Muck-raker was really hungry. Riddles were all he could think of. Asking them, and sometimes guessing them, had been the only game he had ever played with other funny creatures sitting in their holes in the long, long ago, before he lost all his friends and was taken away, alone, and put in a crate, by the orc, into the dark of her hideout. *The Hobbit*

If she had not seen it with her own blood-shot eyes, she would not have believed it. But there it was, the snake appeared to have been in conversation with the pale skinny (no meat on that ones flesh) real estate agent who was trying to sell one of the many fortifications as a time share. Jab Jira did not like it. The snake was getting too smart. And, well, real estate agents were becoming an evasive species with their fake shiny smiles beaming from billboards all over the Dark Land.
Feinting a kick at Muck-raker, who was coiled on the track and not slithering down it, she said.
"What is the world coming to when the likes of a low down snake such as you, thinks it has more brains than its master, oi?"

Umoya and Bindi
Umoya for her part came into the race late and looked over the different racers and quickly picked out a small viper that was in a box and lifted it up by its tail and carried it to the starting line where she sung softly to the beautifully bright yellow viper calming it as it were before she let its tail go and let it slither off to race its race. The young Haradrim woman watched after it as it slithered along swiftly. Umoya for her part stood for a while and dug into a pouch on her belt and pulled out a bit of dried mumakil jerky seasoned and dried with salt and hot spices from her home and nibbled on it watching for a moment before heading to where the other race 'owners' were standing.

"Sss.." The skinny real-estate agent had no meat on its bone and was dismissed. But a quick tongue flick (which is basically a snake sniff) brought Muck-rake instantaneous bliss. He quickly slithered away to avoid the boot, and raced towards his Jacobson’s loot. And low and behold lying amongst the rocks was a dead old rat that looked like it had been bitten in half most likely by a dumb orc who never used a fork. Muck-rake was not a fussy snake (in this land of ash and rock with little stock) and took what he got.

Edit: changed Moon-raker to Muck-mucker. This ain't no James Bond flick!

Umoya was still chewing on her jerky watching her little viper slither along, they were not going the fastest but at least they were not going the wrong way. She though looking at the third snake in the running for the time being. She chewed slowly wondering if that racer would be open to turning their snake (Asmodeus) into snake jerky. Or perhaps a lovely pouch for coins.
