I always thought Marton Csokas as Celeborn didn't quite fit with Cate Blanchett as Galadriel, although it might be because I kept thinking of the actor when he was on Xena and was not an elf. Maybe one of the Ringwraith's steeds, if I could do it mid-story so that one moment the wraith is riding and the next he is facedown in the dirt. The image of a Ringwraith faceplanting is really funny to me.
2. If you could change the casting of one (1) character in the Hobbit/LotR movies, who would you change and to what actor? Also a tough question, but probably Elrond. Hugo Weaving isn't a bad actor but he just does not give off elf vibes, he would have worked better as someone in Gondor or Rohan if you had to have him. I don't know actors well enough to suggest a replacement, but someone ageless would be a good start.
3. What's your favorite breakfast? I don't usually eat breakfast but my favorite is eggs (over easy or medium) and hashbrowns, maybe with bacon or sausage. Gotta be crispy bacon though!

But the most jarring presence for me, every time, is Tom Bombadil. If I had to pick one, it would be him. But I don't actually want to delete anyone.

Frodo, for me, was an incredibly frustrating hero to watch in the movies - and I always pinpoint the reason why to Elijah Wood's idiosyncrasies. I heard once that Ewan Mcgregor was considered for Frodo. I'm sure I would have preferred a more charismatic performance by him. I would also recast Haldir. The first thing my partner said when she saw him for the first time was "he's a goofy looking elf".
3. What's your favorite breakfast? I would have said the exact same as Frost, but I would replace the blueberries with spinach or haloumi.

Much as I hate to say it as I actually enjoy the section when taken out of LOTR, but Tom Bombadil. It adds nothing to the story really and is just too anomalous. I feel like Tom should have his own short story.
2. If you could change the casting of one (1) character in the Hobbit/LotR movies, who would you change and to what actor? Arwen - Liv Tyler never really clicked for me in that role. I would replace her with someone like Anne Hathaway or Rachel Weisz

I thought something more would come of it but it never really did, to my dissatisfaction. I mean, I get that they got the mule from him and the mule had been treated badly, but the character seemed to have done many other additional bad things in my mind and then it just sizzled out completely.
